August MFT Release Countdown: Day Five!

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday!

It’s time to begin the countdown to the FABULOUS August MFT Release Countdown! All of the amazing new products will be released on Tuesday, August 7th at 9PM EST right HERE in the MFT Boutique!

Today I have a card to share with you using the ADORABLE new Friendship Rocks, Friendship Rocks Die-namics, Take The Stage Die-namics and In the Spotlight Stencil! Oh, how I LOVE these new goodies!

I had SO much fun creating this card! I began with this darling little singer, and I cut her, and her little platform, from No-Line Coloring Card Stock using the Friendship Rocks Die-namics, and then stamped her with Friendship Rocks using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I then colored both with Copic Markers and put them to the side.

For the background and stage, I started with a panel of Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock using the A2 Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics. I then cut a panel of Smooth White Card Stock and then cut the bottom with the Take The Stage Die-namics. I sponged the panel with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink using the In the Spotlight Stencil.

I used the Take The Stage Die-namics to cut Ripe Raspberry Prestige Card Stock, and I trimmed down the side panels and popped them up with Foam Tape. I then added the top scallop panels, also using Foam Tape. I added my little singer, popping her and her platform up with Foam Tape. The sentiment panel was cut from Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock using the Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strips Die-namics, and I stamped “Today, You’re in the Spotlight” from Friendship Rocks using Versamark Ink and then heat embossed it using WOW White Embossing Powder. I finished off the card by adding stars cut with the Friendship Rocks Die-namics from Silver Sparkle Card Stock.
