Happy, Happy Birthday! {CTD334}

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown!  This week, we are up to CTD334, and Tammy has challenged us to use orange, navy and pink!

Print

I’ve paired this week’s colors with Jen’s Deconstructing Sketch, DS192.  I starting by cutting out this sweet little gal using the Pure Innocence Happy Banner Die-namics  from X-Press It Blending Card, and I stamped the panel using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink using Pure Innocence Happy Banner.  I colored her with Copic Markers, and I added shimmer to her banner and hair bow using a Clear Wink of Stella Marker.  I popped her up onto a panel of Kraft Card Stock and Smooth White Card Stock cut with the Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics.

Print

The main panel of Cotton Candy Card Stock was cut with Blueprints 13 Die-namics, and I added a mat of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 2 Die-namics.  I added a strip of After Midnight Prestige Card Stock, cut with Blueprints 13 Die-namics, and added a Smooth White Card Stock panel cut with the scallop border from Blueprints 23 Die-namics.  I added a small strip of Cotton Candy Card Stock and a strip of Orange Fizz Card Stock.  I used the stitched flag die from Blueprints 20 Die-namics to create the After Midnight Prestige Card Stock flag.

Print

On the inside, I cut another panel of Cotton Candy Card Stock using Blueprints 13 Die-namics, and added a mat of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 2 Die-namics.  I stamped this sweet PI again, this time using Cotton Candy Premium Dye Ink, and I stamped the sentiment, “Happy, Happy Birthday”, from Pure Innocence Happy Banner, using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.

Never Grows Old {CTD327}

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge, and Wanda has a gorgeous combo for us today…purple, lime green, turquoise and yellow!  What a pretty combo!

Print

I’ve used Jen’s Deconstructed Sketch, DS185, for the layout.  The focal panel was cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX Die-namics and I stamped the sentiment, “Anyone that keeps the ability to see beauty never grows old” from LJD Whimsical Wishes using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.  The Tropical Teal Prestige Card Stock panel behind the sentiment panel was also cut with the Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX Die-namics.

I used the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics to cut the circle from Lemon Chiffon Prestige Card Stock and Limelight Prestige Card Stock.  I stamped the Limelight Prestige Card Stock half circle using the Swiss Dots Background using Limelight Premium Dye Ink.  The bow was cut from Wild Wisteria Prestige Card Stock using the Dainty Bows Die-namics.

Print

The main panel of Wild Wisteria Prestige Card Stock was cut with Blueprints 14 Die-namics and stamped with the Fine Chevron Background using Wild Wisteria Premium Dye Ink.  I added a mat of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 3 Die-namics.  The Tropical Teal Prestige Card Stock panel was cut with the Stitched Square STAX Die-namics.

Print

On the inside, I cut a panel of Wild Wisteria Prestige Card Stock and a panel of Tropical Teal Prestige Card Stock using Blueprints 13 Die-namics and stamped the sentiment, “Happy Birthday”, also from LJD Whimsical Wishes, using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.

MFT January Release Countdown: Day Two!

Hi everyone!  Happy Monday!

We are SO close to the big MFT January Release!  All of the new products will be available tomorrow, January 6th at 10PM right HERE in the MFT Boutique!

I have two cards to share with you today!  My first card features the AMAZING new Level Up set and Game Controller Die-namics!  LOVE!  This set and Die-namics could not be more perfect for the men in our lives!

Print

I used Jen’s Deconstructed Sketch, DS182, for the layout.  I created the controller using the Game Controller Die-namics and cut it from Grout Gray Card Stock, Steel Grey Card Stock, Black Licorice Card Stock, Red Hot Card Stock, Lemon Drop Card Stock, Green Room Prestige Card Stock and Lush Lagoon Prestige Card Stock.  I lightly sponged the edge of the controller with Grout Gray Premium Dye Ink.  After attaching all of the pieces, I added Glossy Accents so all of the “buttons” were shiny.  I super love that!  I popped the controller up onto three panels, two panels cut with the Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, one from Lush Lagoon Prestige Card Stock and the other from Green Room Prestige Card Stock, and a panel of Red Hot Card Stock cut with the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics.

Print

The main panel of Steel Grey Card Stock was cut with Blueprints 14 Die-namics and stamped with the Grid Background using Steel Grey Premium Dye Ink.  I added a mat of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 3 Die-namics.  The sentiment, from Level Up, was stamped with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder.

Print

On the inside, I cut two panels of Smooth White Card Stock using Blueprints 14 Die-namics and Blueprints 3 Die-namics.  I stamped the sentiment from Level Up using Lush Lagoon Premium Dye Ink and Green Room Premium Dye Ink.  I added a trio of stars cut with Blueprints 17 Die-namics from Red Hot Card Stock, Lush Lagoon Prestige Card Stock and Lemon Drop Card Stock.

Print

My second card features the SWEET new Miss Tina set, MSTN I Love You More!

Print

I simply LOVE this sentiment and the font!  I was inspired by the sentiment to pair it with the Sun Ray Cover Up Die-namics!  I cut a panel of Smooth White Card Stock using the Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics and stamped the sentiment from MSTN I Love You More using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.

Print

I cut a panel of Berrylicious Card Stock using the Sun Ray Cover Up Die-namics and then cut it again using Lemon Drop Card Stock and Lemon Chiffon Prestige Card Stock.  I cut a mat of Smooth White Card Stock using Blueprints 2 Die-namics.  I inset the sun and rays using the pieces cut with Lemon Drop Card Stock and Lemon Chiffon Card Stock, and I added glitter to these panels.  After attaching the sentiment panel, I added enamels dots and rhinestones.

Print

On the inside, I cut two panels of Smooth White Card Stock using Blueprints 1 Die-namics and Blueprints 2 Die-namics.  I added a strip of Berrylicious Card Stock to the bottom.  I stamped the sentiment, also from MSTN I Love You More, using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.  I added a bit of color and glitter to the sun and cloud.
