Witchypoo {SFYTT}!

Hi everyone!  Happy Saturday!

It's the third Saturday of the month so I am back to share another sample using the September SFYTT!  Here is another peek at the sketch:

This month, the SFYTT Sisters are sponsored by the awesome Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!  YAY!  LOVE KKS!

Halloween is my most favorite holiday, for both decorating and stamping, so for my card today I pulled out the ADORABLE Witchypoo from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!  LOVE her!

I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored her with Copic Markers.  I added Crystal Stickles to her skirt and the orange band on her hat.  I fussy cut her out and popped her up onto two rectangles cut with the Rectangle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Rectangle STAX 2 Die-Namics from MFT.  I added silver brads to all four corners.

All of the patterned papers are Chillingsworth Manor from Echo Park Papers.  For the vertical panel I added a border with the Solid Bracket Border Die-Namics from MFT.  I added some Smokey Shadow Ribbon around the vertical panel as well.

Here are the Copic Markers I've used on my card:

The September SFYTT Is Here!

Hi everyone!  Happy Saturday!  I cannot even believe it's September already!  WOW!!

The first Saturday of the month means a brand new SFYTT!  Here is this month's sketch!

This month, the SFYTT Sisters are sponsored by the super fabby Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!  YAY!  LOVE me some KKS!

For my card today I FINALLY used the ADORABLE Lulu & Libby set!  When this set was released I HAD to have it!  Seriously...it's AMAZING how much these two cuties remind me of my girls...right down to Meredith's pig tails and Avery's top pony!!

I colored them with Copic Markers and all of the patterned paper is Happy Day from My Minds Eye.  I embossed the Kraft panel with the Seeing Spots Embossing Folder and added a border using the Simply Scallops Medium Die-Namics from MFT.

Here is a closeup of these cuties.  I have been trying to not over-blend so much...it's a work in progress.  I LOVE the sentiment, "My sister has the best sister" (lol) and I stamped it onto a panel cut with the Sentiment Strips Die-Namics from MFT.  I added three buttons, also from MFT, tied with some Flax Twine!

Here are the Copic Markers I've used on my card:

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!!

The Ribbon Carousel Crewmates are SUPER excited to be teaming up with the fabulous Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Designers to bring you a blog hop today!  YAY!  I LOVE me some Kraftin' Kimmie!!

For my card today I used the ADORABLE new Birthday Lulu!  I ADORE all of the Lulu sets...and in fact, I have quite a few waiting to be inked up.  I sure wish there was more time in a day!!  I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X Press It Blending Card and colored her with Copic Markers.  I paper pieced the cupcake "liner" with the same papers I've used on my card, So Happy Together from Echo Park Papers.

I added glitter to the "icing" and then cut out the image, and layered it, with Square STAX 1 Die-Namics and Square STAX 2 Die-Namics from MFT.  The Sour Lemon panel was embossed with the Seeing Spots Embossing Folder and I added a border using the Simply Scallops Medium Die-Namics on the horizontal panel.   I wrapped some delish Teal Divine Twine around the horizontal panel and then added rhinestones between each scallop, as well as two on the focal panel.

Here is a closeup of this cutie.  The sentiment, "It's always cupcake time" was stamped onto panels cut with the Circle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Circle STAX 2 Die-Namics.  The card base is the delish Robin's Egg Cardstock.

Here are the Copic Markers I've used on my card:

Hop along and leave some blog love for our designers for a chance to win one of two great prizes!  The Ribbon Carousel will be giving away a $25.00 gift certificate to the store and Kraftin' Kimmie will be giving away a winner's choice of 1 stamp set or 3 individual stamps!  The winner of the carousel will be announced on the Kraftin' Kimmie blog and the winner of the Kraftin' Kimmie stamps will be announced on the Ribbon Carousel blog!

Have A Sweet Day {Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge 117}!

Hi everyone!  Happy Saturday!

I've had SUCH a great time being a Guest Designer this month for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!  I just love all of these images, especially the Lulu's (and I have more on the way...yay!!).  Here is a card I created for today's challenge on the Krafty Blog, #117, which is this fabby sketch!

I used one of the sweet new Lulu's from Lulu and Friends.  She is SO much fun to color, which I did with Copic Markers.  The patterned paper is the new This & That, Graceful, from Echo Park Papers.  I stitched around each panel with my Janome Sew Mini, and the Kraft background was embossed with the Seeing Spots Embossing Folder for some added texture.

I used the Jumbo Ric Rac Die-Namics to create the two horizontal panels, and they were cut from more of the same patterned papers.  I added a bit of twine around each.  I cut the flowers using My Favorite Felt in Puff Cloud White and the Rolled Rose Die-Namics and Mini Rolled Rose Die-Namics, all from MFT.  The sentiment, "Have A Sweet Day", from Lulu and Friends, was stamped onto a panel cut with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics from MFT.  I added a bit of bling in the center of each flower as well.

Thanks SO much for stopping by!  Please head on over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Blog to play along and check out what the Krafty Girls have come up with for this challenge!

Hi everyone!  Happy Friday!  TGIF!

I'm back today with another preview from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps...today I am sharing a tweet new set, Tweets and Twitters 2!

For my card, I started with Card Patterns Sketch 152 for the layout, and all the patterned paper is Dolled Up from My Minds Eye.  I colored the bird with Copic Markers and cut out the panel with Oval Nestabilities.  I sponged around the edge for extra definition.  The sentiment, "Shake Your Tailfeathers" was stamped onto a panel cut with the Chat Bubbles Die-Namics from My Favorite Things.

I added a border between the panels with the Little Open Scallop Strip Die-Namics.  I created the trio of flowers out of patterned paper using the Pretty Posies Die-Namics and added a button and twine in the center of each.  I added stitching and silver brads and called it done!

Oh The Places You'll Go {Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge #115}!

Hi everyone!  Happy Saturday!

I am so excited to be a Guest with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps this month!  YAY!!  I have a card for today's challenge on the Kraftin' Kimmie Blog, Challenge #115!  This week Sandie Dunne has challenged the Krafty Girls (and me!) to use Pearls and Pins!  FUN!

For my card today, I've used the darling Bookworm Jaime...isn't she cute?  I stamped her, colored her with Copic Markers and then fussy cut her out.  The layout is Jen's Deconstructed Sketch, DS38, and the patterned papers are all from the new On The Bright Side One from My Minds Eye.

I stitched around the circle...stitch by stitch, and added more sewing around the card as well.  The Kraft panel was embossed with the Seeing Spots Embossing Folder.  I added a fun banner with the Mix & Match Banners Die-Namics from MFT and made it longer to fit the sketch.  The flower was created with the Flower and Leaf Trio Die-Namics, also from MFT.

I added some pearls to her sweater with a Viva Pearl Pen in Cream, as well as a pearl in the flower center.  I also added two stick pins into the flower...I have been hoarding these forever...it feels good to actually use them!

Here is a closeup of the flower with the pearls and pins...the pins even have pearls.  That's just how I roll (lol).
