Happy St. Patrick's Day {March SFYTT}!

Hi everyone!  Happy Saturday and Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Today is the third Saturday of the Month, and I am back, along with a few of my SFYTT Sisters, to share another sample using the fabulous March SFYTT!

You may recall that this month, the SFYTT Sisters are sponsored by a fabulous company, The Craft's Meow!

I've used the adorable Owl See You In The Spring set for my card today to create a sweet St. Patrick's Day card!  I stamped the boy and girl owl for my focal panel, doing a little masking so that they are stacked up...love that!  They are colored with Copic Markers and their shamrocks, and the band on his hat, were given a bit of sparkle with some Spica Glitter Pens.

All of the patterned paper is This & That Charming from Echo Park Papers.  I love this collection.  The background panel of Kraft cardstock was embossed with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder for some extra interest.  I added a branch cut with the Branch and Leaves Die-Namics from MFT and added it under the owls.  Here is a closeup of this happy pair.

For the circle element I cut a piece of patterned paper with Circle Nestabilities and layered it with Hot Fudge Cardstock from MFT using Scallop Circle Nestabilities.  The shamrock was created by cutting three hearts using the Notched Tag Die-Namics from MFT out of My Favorite Felt in Jellybean Green, also from MFT.  I hand cut the stem and then added a button in the center tied with some twine.  Here is a closeup.

The March SFYTT Is Here!

Hi everyone!  Happy Saturday!  It's the first Saturday of the Month and that means a new SFYTT!  Take a gander at the March SFYTT Sketch:

This month, the SFYTT Sisters are sponsored by the fabulous The Craft's Meow!  YAY!  I LOVE Lisa and was able to give her a big hug when we met at Winter CHA 2010.  

For my card today, I worked with the adorable new Owl See You In The Spring from The Craft's Meow.  I LOVE this sweet little owl all dressed up as a bunny!  Too cute!  He is colored with Copic Markers and then fussy cut out.  I popped him up onto a circle that I stamped with one of the word block stamps in the set and added a bling circle, which, if you haven't noticed, I am a tad obsessed with.

All of the patterned paper is Dolled Up from My Minds Eye and the background panel was embossed with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.  I think I am in an embossing folder rut...I definitely need to add some new ones to my collection...any suggestions?

The sentiment, "Happy Easter" was stamped onto a panel cut with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics from MFT and I anchored it to my card with a sweet crocheted flower that my Mom made (thanks Mom!).  She made TONS of them awhile back and I've been hoarding them.  I added a twine bow underneath and adorned it with a button.
