Greetings From Isle Esme!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Thursday!! Here is my card for today's Ways To Use It Challenge on SCS, WT225, Out Of The Box, Literally!

So...about a week ago, I was blurfing around and was visiting my fellow Trendsetter, Holly aka Toy's, blog, Toy's Haven, and saw an AWESOME card she made with Twilight inspired stamps (Twilight stamps say WHAT????).

So, of course, being the Twilight OBSESSED stamper that I am (just finished Breaking Dawn...for the 8th time) I immediately headed on over to Artful Inkables and picked up their two Twilight related stamp sets, Fictionally Inspired and Into the Moonlight!!

Now, my stamps arrived today, and this card has been in my head ever since!! When I saw the "Greetings From" and "Isle Esme" stamps in the Fictionally Inspired set, I just knew it would be PERFECT with this AWESOME image from the newly released set, Life's A Beach from There She Goes!! In fact, this card is going out to Jessica, the owner of There She Goes, who, thanks to moi, shares in my Twilight obsession! I think she is going to get a kick out of this!

For my card, I started by ripping off a piece of corrugated cardboard from a box and misted it with water to peel off the top layer. I stamped the island in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White cardstock and cut it out with Curved Rectangle Nestabilities. I colored the entire image with Copic Markers, taking care to not color on the embossed edge, so that way it looks like it is matted.

My color combo is Bermuda Bay (one of the new SU! In Colors), Soft Sky (which I still LOVE) and Choice White. I finished off my card with some Whisper White Organza Ribbon, Silver Brads from American Crafts and Paper Piercing.

Thanks SO much for stopping by, and a BIG thank you to Holly for enabling my latest purchase!!!
