Penguins....lovely.

Hi everyone! Happy Friday!!

With just two weeks until New Moon rises (holy guacamole...I am SO flippin' excited!), I thought I would "try" to have all my cards have some kind of Twilight Series reference...so here goes!!

My card today is this week's There She Goes Challenge, TSG27, Cause A Scene!! This challenge was brought to us by the Trendsetter of the Week, the UBER talented Dawn Burnworth (have you seen her coloring....WOW!). Dawn has been in the spotlight all week and her projects are rockin!

For my scene, I chose to use the SUPER cute new set from There She Goes, Penguin Love!! I started by stamping my trees and masked them to add in the mountains. I then stamped the igloo and penguin, and using my Copic Multiliner, created a "horizon line". I colored all the images with Copic Markers and added TONS of Crystal Transparent Glitter for all the snow! Fun!!

My Twilight Series reference for this card is from Eclipse when Bella and Edward were discussing her vampiric future and how she didn't want to be a bloodthirsty menace to anyone. I LOVE when she says that they can live in Alaska to keep her away from tasty people and he replies..."Penguins...lovely". Cracks me up!!!

I really hope I can reference all of my upcoming cards, in some random way, to the Twilight Series (I do have a few posts already scheduled, so they won't be Twilight referenced) :)

On a side note....I bought myself the Edward Barbie Doll yesterday...he sparkles!!!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!! Head on over to the There She Goes Blog and play along in Dawn's challenge! One lucky participent will win a $5.00 gift certificate to the There She Goes Store!!
