Are You Ready To Celebrate???

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!!!

Did you know that Cuppie is just about to turn 1! It's true and Taylored Expressions is ready to PART-AY! How about you??

On Saturday, September 5 at 8:00 AMPST, Taylored Expressions is releasing FOUR (4!!) AMAZING new stamp sets and TWO (2) FABULOUS new Key Ingredients!! Peeks begin on Thursday and I cannot WAIT for you all to see!!! This is my favorite TE release so far (I know I say that EACH month...but seriously!).

Just MOMENTS after the release, we will begin an entire day of challenges on the Stamp A Sweet Impression Blog, with a new challenge EVERY HOUR hosted by a member of the Baker's Dozen! I am hosting a challenge at 5:00 PM CST and hope you all can play along!!

When there are challenges, there are prizes right? Well, hold onto your hats and check out these FAB prizes!!

***Prizes, prizes and more prizes - one lucky winner will be selected for each challenge to receive a $10 Gift Certificate from Taylored Expressions as well as the sample created by your Challenge Hostess.

***Grand Prize - as if that weren't enough - anyone ambitious and creative enough to play in ALL 13 Challenges will be entered into a drawing for the Grand Prize of a $25 TE Gift Certificate along with...are you ready for this?...seriously I hope you are sitting down...along with a custom painting by our favorite Cuppie artist Jessie Oleson!!! WOW!

***Time limit - we want to give you plenty of time to play. What a great way to spend a 3 day holiday weekend huh? All entries will be due by Wednesday September 9th at midnight PST. Winners will be announced on Friday, September 11th.

***You may combine challenges any way you like and you will NOT be required to use Taylored Expressions stamps in your creations.

OK...may I just say that "I" want a custom painting by Jessie!! She is AMAZING!! I envy whoever wins that FAB prize for sure!!!

Of course, I had to make a card to celebrate Cuppie right? I am making good on my promise (to myself!) to make Christmas Cards using Taylor's Sketches!! This card is for this past Friday's TECC80!

For my card, I stamped this snowman Cuppie from Home Sweet Home (is he CA-ute or what!) in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored him with Copic Markers.

I made him SUPER sparkly with my two way glue pen and some Crystal Transparent Glitter!! The patterned paper is from the new "The Boyfriend" line by Cosmo Cricket, and I thought it would PERFECT for a mod, fun Christmas Card!!

I LOVED how Lori (last Friday's Featured Cupcake Sampler) used a ribbon/button combo, so I tried to pull off that look too (clearly not as FAB as hers!!), and I added some piercing and Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon!

I finished off my card with some yummy Red Brads from the Taylored Expressions Store!!!

Thanks SOOOO much for stopping by! Make sure you check out the Stamp A Sweet Impression Blog to get ALL the deets for the challenges!!!

Happy {almost} Birthday Cuppie!!

Thinking of You!

Hi everyone!! Happy Sunday again!!

Yes...it's true...you are seeing an SUO card!! LOL!! I have been able to get in some more stamping time, so I reached for my SU! stamps this morning...they have been getting pretty neglected in my stamp room!!

This is my card for today's Featured Stamper Challenge on SCS, FS134, which honors to AWESOME Darlene Pavlick! I had so much fun perusing her gallery for a card to case!!

I have cased her Butterfly Birthday card!! I kept her fabulous layout and basic design with the butterfly in the center, but have changed the following:

1. The colors and patterned paper
2. Used a butterfly die cut instead of a stamp
3. Used a different sentiment
4. Added tons of piercing and bling

I used Razzleberry Lemonade DSP on my card today (love this paper!!) and layered everything in black and white to make it pop! The sentiment, Thinking of You, is from Trendy Trees, and it is the only stamping on the entire card!! I added texture to the Crushed Curry panel with the Harlequin Texturz Plate and a Sponge Dauber with Crushed Curry ink.

I created the butterfly with the Beautiful Butterflies Die from SU!/Sizzi and I finished off my card with TONS of piercing, Black Vintage Brads and four Clear Circle Rhinestone Brads in the center of the butterfly.

Thanks SO much for stopping by again!!

Recipe:
Stamps: Trendy Trees
Paper: Basic Black, Whisper White & Crushed Curry
Ink: Basic Black and Crushed Curry
Accessories: Paper Piercing Tool and Template, Clear Circle Rhinestone Brads, Vintage Brads, Sponge Dauber, Harlequin Texturz Background & Beautiful Butterflies Die by SU!/Sizzix and Dimensionals

Best Witches!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Sunday!! Meredith wanted to color this morning, and you know what? So did I! I figured I could get a jump start on my Halloween cards!!

I made this card for Taylor's Sketch Challenge from Friday, TESC80!! I did promise myself a few weeks back that I would make a Holiday card for each of Taylor's sketches, so I am going to have to make another card with this rockin' sketch!

I stamped this ADORABLE witch Cuppie from Trick or Sweet in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock (this is the ONLY cardstock I use to color with my Copics!), and colored her with my Copic Markers. I also added a touch of Moonlight Smooch to the button closure of her cape!!!

I have a serious lack of Halloween paper, so I used some patterns from Summer Picnic by SU! and then just added some Orchid Opulence and Basic Black!

The Basic Black panel in the background was run through the Cuttlebug with the Spots and Dots Embossing Folder, and the yummy ribbon is from the Taylored Expressions Store.

The sentiment, Best Witches, which is also from Trick or Sweet, was punched with my Word Window Punch and layered on Circle Punches and the Designer Label Punch. I added just a TOUCH of piercing and finished this off with some White Brads from American Crafts!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Recipe:
Stamps: Trick or Sweet by Taylored Expressions
Paper: Basic Black, Choice Snow White, Orchid Opulence & Summer Picnic DSP
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black

For my card, I started by stamping the tree in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and then, using my brayer (crazy right! That's how I roll!), I inked up my (never before used even though I have had it for years!) Desert Heat Kaleidacolor Rainbow Ink Pad!! I am SO happy with how it came out!!!

I then stamped the "happiness" sentiment right onto my panel, and created a little tab for my
"treemendous" sentiment!!

The color combo on my card is Black/White/Pumpkin Pie/Melon Mambo, and I think this may be my new fav color combo!!

I stamped the flourishes in Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo ink directly onto the Pumpkin Pie & Melon Mambo Cardstock! I added tons of piercing and some yummy, shimmery Black Twill Ribbon. I added two Sugarcoated Brads by Doodlebug to two corners and Voila! Done!!

The next stop on this mini set hop is over at the amazing Julie Lacey's blog!!

Prettie {scrapling} Wednesday!!

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

Two weeks ago, Frances challenged the Prettie Girls to make a "scrapling"!! I had NO clue what she was talking about! LOL!!

According to our pal Frances, a "scrapling" is the strip of cardstock left over when you cut a certain size card! Frances challenged us to make a "scrapling" that was 2.5 wide (not counting any layers on top) by 4.25 tall! Fun!!

I had out my Giving Thanks Sophia from making Jackie's birthday card yesterday, so I used her again! She is stamped onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored with Copic Markers.

Her dress, and the background of my scrapling, is patterned paper from the Berries & Cherries Key Ingredients from TE, as is the cardstock.

I framed Sophia in Circle and Scallop Circle Nestabilities and added TONS of piercing. I thought this would make a cute bookmark for Meredith to use!!

You can see what the other Pretties have come up with for this challenge right here!!

Happy Prettie Birthday Jacks!!!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!!

Welcome to a very Twilight Inspired Prettie Birthday Hop for our FAB Prettie Girl, Jackie Pedro! (aka Jacks!)!! WOO HOO!!!

I was in charge of bringing my boyfriend (giggle!!) to the party! I had to DRAG him away from the Voluturi, but Jacks is worth it of course!! LOL!!!

This Prettie Birthday hop started down under at Frances' blog!! If you came here from her blog, perfect! If not, head on over to her blog to start this hop from the beginning!!!!

So Jessie had the idea to do a Red/White/Black combo for Jackie's birthday hop, and for my card, I used Bella Rose DSP...to bring in a bit of "Bella" and of the "Rose"...nifty eh? LOL!!

I used Giving Thanks Sophia for my card, and she is colored with Copic Markers, and her dress is paper pieced with Bella Rose DSP too!!

I wanted to switch up my layout a bit (I feel like all my cards use the same layout!!), and this is what I came up with!

I had my Word Window Punch out to punch out my sentiment, and I thought, hey...why not use some punches as embellies!!!

I added just a touch of piercing and finished off my card with a double ribbon of Riding Hood Red Striped Grosgrain and Whisper White Organza Ribbon!!

The next stop on this hop is over at the Stamping Sister's Blog...Jackie R!!

Happy Birthday There She Goes!!!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday and Happy Birthday to There She Goes!! WOO HOO!!! There She Goes is turning one and there is an AWESOME new release this week (peeks start on Wednesday!!).

To start off the Birthday Bash, here is my card for TSG17, which is to make a Birthday Card!!

This card is also for yesterday's Featured Stamper Challenge on SCS, FS133, which honors my sweet friend and fellow Trendsetter and Maine lovin' Joanne G!! WOO HOO! Congrats Girlie!!!

I chose to case Joanne's STUNNING card right here!! How GORGEOUS is her card???

I kept her layout, which I just realized was a Sketch Challenge (d'oh!!) and used the same flower image (which is from Bloom by There She Goes and is back in stock RIGHT NOW!!!), but changed the following:

1. Different Colors and Papers
2. Different Corner Treatment (I actually used my Scallop Edge Punch to create mine!!)
3. Used Silver Brads that are all the same size
4. Added a sentiment

I stamped this GORGEOUS flower in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers. The papers are Urban Oasis, Regal Rose DSP and Certainly Celery DSP, and I pierced around my focal image and on two other panels!! My Happy Birthday Sentiment is from the Tweeterpated set, also from There She Goes!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by! Make sure you head back here on Wednesday for the first There She Goes Peek! WOO HOO!!

Mojo Friday!!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Friday!! I have TONS of stuff to do tonight...but what am I doing instead? The Mojo Friday challenge on the Mojo Monday Blog!! LOL!!

Here is my card for MojoFriday, and awesome sketch by Theresa!!!

For my card, I knew I wanted to use this AWESOME new Plain Jane released last Friday from Verve Stamps, To Risk!! Love this quote!!! I TRIED to channel Julee and sponge my panel...yeah, that didn't work out so well ;)

I am also LOVING the new Verve background set, Bountiful Backgrounds, and I used two different patterns on my card, one for the background and the other on my circles!!!

I think my circles are smaller than the sketch calls for...hope that's ok!! Once again...NO PIERCING on this card!! Yikes!!

I did, however, use my fav Whisper White Organza Ribbon along with Melon Mambo Polka Dot Ribbon, and I finished off my card with Black Brads from American Crafts.

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Recipe:
Stamps: To Risk and Bountiful Backgrounds by Verve Stamps

A Fuzzy Navel???

Hi everyone!! Happy Thursday again!! Here is my card for yesterday's Sketch Challenge on SCS, SC242, and for today's Ways To Use It Challenge on SCS, WT232, Let's Get Warm and Fuzzy!!! FUN!!!

This sketch is AWESOME, and as soon as I saw it, I knew I wanted to ink up this FABU frosty drink image from the recently released and totally delish Chillax set from Taylored Expressions!!!

I stamped my beverage in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers!!! The "rim" of my glass has a coat of White Fun Flock as my "something fuzzy", and I like to think that my glass is chock full of a FUZZY navel...get it? LOL!!

The patterned paper on my card is from the Early Bird Collection by Cosmo Cricket (y'all know that I am OBSESSED with Cosmo Cricket these days right?), and I used Prism cardstock on this card in Intense Kiwi and Sunflowers Medium!!

After I put my fuzzy sugar on the glass, I coated the rest of it with Glossy Accents...which I have been using quite often lately (see what happens when I do not clean my stamping area after each card!!). My sentiment, "Cheers", which is also from Chillax, was stamped onto Choice Buttercream and than layered with Circle Punches!!

I finished off my card with green and yellow ribbons from Taylored Expressions (have you seen the HUGE amount of ribbon Taylor has in the TE Store? She has TONS and it is all gorgeous and an awesome value! Check out the link here!!).

I pierced "just a touch" on this card...it hurts if I don't (giggle!!!), and my Sunflowers Medium panel was run through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder!!!

Thanks SO much for looking!!

Recipe:
Stamps: Chillax by Taylored Expressions
Paper: Sunflowers Medium & Intense Kiwi from Prism, Choice Buttercream from TE and Early Bird from Cosmo Cricket

Good For the Soul!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Thursday! Here is my card for the Day #4 Sketch Challenge on the Mojo Monday Blog, MojoSarah! This was SUCH a fun sketch to play with!!

I used my brand spankin' new Express Yourself set from Verve Stamps...I could not wait to ink up this fun polka dot heel!!!

I stamped the heel in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers. I framed my heel in Circle and Scallop Circle Nestabilities!! LOVE how it looks!!

I went with a Black/White/Cameo Coral combo for my card, and the patterned paper is from Pink Flamingo DSP from SU!!

I added two Black Brads by American Crafts (I LOVE these brads!!) and a double ribbon of Whisper White Organza (I must re-order this soon...I am going through my roll SO fast!!) and Black Gingham Ribbon, both from SU!

You may notice that there is NO PIERCING on this card...shocking right? I did not lose my paper piercing tool (thank Goodness!!), I just wanted to go for a more "clean" look on this one!!

The background was stamped with the polka dot background from Bountiful Backgrounds by Verve Stamps in Versamark onto the Cameo Coral cardstock...love the look of that!!

Thanks SO much for looking!!

You're So Fabulous!!

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!!

Here is my card for today's Sketch Challenge on the Mojo Monday Blog, which was created by Teresa, MojoTeresa!!!

This sketch ROCKS!! I had so much fun playing with it!! For my card, I went with a Black/White/Rich Razzleberry combo (I am all about the purples lately!!), and I used two brand new Verve Stamps sets on this, Budding Blossoms and Bountiful Backgrounds!!

I started by stamping the leaves and flowers from Budding Blossoms in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock, and I stamped the flowers twice. They were colored with Copic Markers, popped up on dimensionals and coated with one coat of Candlelight Shimmerz!!

I used the Fleur De Lis background from Bountiful Backgrounds and stamped it in Rich Razzleberry Ink onto my Rich Razzleberry Cardstock. I used my Fleur De Lis punch from EK Success for my border!!

The sentiment, You're So Fabulous, is also from Bountiful Backgrounds, and is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Rich Razzleberry cardstock and also coated with Candelight Shimmerz.

I pierced the heckaroo out of this card (like all my cards!), and I used a double bow of Whisper White Organza and Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon!! The three rhinestone brads are Clear Circle Rhinestone Brads from SU! that I colored purple with a Copic Marker.

I think I am coming down with a cold, so that is all from me tonight! Hopefully tomorrow I get get to the SCS Sketch Challenge...I just don't have it in me right now...plus, Edward and Eclipse are calling my name...for the 11th time around!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Prettie {use that vellum} Wednesday!

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!!

Two weeks ago, Prettie Girl Christi challenged the Prettie Girls to use vellum! Fun challenge!!

Now, I have TONS of vellum...like, an entire, unopened pack, plus alot more. Now...can I FIND the vellum? Of course not! All I was able to find was literally a 1 inch square of vellum!!! What's a girl to do with a 1 inch square of vellum you ask? Punch it and create a vellum butterfly!!

On my card, I used a newly released set from Paper Pretties, Everyday Picnic! We have SO many vineyards here on Long Island,. so I will be using this set ALOT!

The picnic basked was stamped onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored with Copic Markers. I framed my image with Circle and Scallop Circle Nestabilities and added some piercing.

This DELISH paper is called Something New from the Everafter Collection from Cosmo Cricket (I cannot stop using this Cosmo Cricket paper!!), and it matches two of the new in colors, Soft Suede and Dusty Durango perfectly!

The sentiment, For You, is part of a sentiment from the Sweets For The Sweet Set from Paper Pretties. I finished off my card with some piercing and some Whisper White Organza Ribbon, and of course, my vellum butterfly which I layered over a Soft Suede butterfly!!

You can see how the other Pretties have incorporated vellum into their cards right here!!

New Vervage!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Tuesday again!! I received some new Verve Stamps in the mail today (sheesh! Julee ships FAST! These stamps were just released on Friday night!!!), and I just HAD to play...there was no option!!!

I LOVE coffee (as you all probably know!) and I LOVE Verve stamps...so put them together...HOLY HANNAH!!! The new set, Delightful & Delicious, is just that! Delightful and delicious!!!

This card is for the MojoMaria sketch on the Mojo Monday blog!! I started by stamping this AWESOME sentiment (this sums me up to a T!!) in Chocolate Chip ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock and cutting it out with one of the Labels 2 (I think it's Labels 2!) Nestabilities, and I then stamped a coffee cup in Kiwi Kiss behind the sentiment.

All the layers on my card were sponged with Close to Cocoa ink, and they are pretty much all pierced with my paper piercing tool and template.

The DSP is Bella Rose, and my vertical Kiwi Kiss panel was stamped with the awesome polka dot background from the newly released Bountiful Backgrounds!!! LOVE this!!

I finished off my card with some Vanilla Brads by American Crafts and a double ribbon of Valet Ribbon Originals and Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon!!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!!

A Cocoa Vanilla Teal Thank You!

Hi everyone!! Happy Tuesday!! Here is my card for today's Color Challenge on SCS, CC232, Cocoa Vanilla Teal (yummy combo!) and also for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge, MTSC35!!

With this awesome sketch and color combo, I knew I wanted to use one of my all time favorite There She Goes sets, Act of Kindness!!

I stamped the three flowers onto Close to Cocoa Cardstock first in Close to Cocoal ink and then again in Whisper White Craft ink, which is the faux dry embossing technique.

The patterned paper is the Close to Cocoa pattern from the retired SU! Berry Bliss DSP, and each layer was paper pierced (shocker!) and I also sponged all the Close to Cocoa and Taken With Teal layers.

I stamped the "thank" part of my sentiment directly onto my focal panel, and the "you" onto Very Vanilla cardstock and punched it with 1 1/4 and 1 3/8 Circle Punches. These two sentiments are from the Nature of Friendship set from There She Goes, and I LOVE how they are separate stamps...SO many more options!!! I stamped the swirl from Act of Kindness in Taken With Teal behind the "you" sentiment for a bit of interest.

I added Taylor's Tiny Twinkles under the "you" sentiment, in all four corners and also on each scallop on the bottom, which I used my Scallop Edge Punch to create!! I used a Copic Marker to color my Whisper White Organza Ribbon teal, and I also added a Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon too!!

Thanks SO much for looking!!!

Recipe:
Stamps: Act of Kindness and Nature of Friendship by There She Goes
Paper: Taken With Teal, Close to Cocoa, Very Vanilla and Berry Bliss DSP
Ink: Close to Cocoa, Taken With Teal and Whisper White Craft

Mojo Monday Turns 100!!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday! Here is my card for Mojo Monday, #100, Mojo100!! 100 awesome sketches...wow...that is ALOT of sketches!! I haven't been able to play in the Mojo Monday challenges too much lately, but since I REALLY love my Verve stamps (did you SEE the stamps Julee released this past Friday? Oh my WORD!!), I am really going to make it a point to participate each and every Monday (fingers crossed!!).

For my card, I started by stamping the stamps and flower from Miracles Blossom by Verve Stamps in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock, and I colored them with Copic Markers. The flower was stamped again, colored with Copic Markers, cut out, popped up on Foam Tape and I added a coat of Candelight Shimmerz to it!

The sentiment, Thinking of You, is from Circular Sayings from Verve Stamps, and it is punched and layered on 1 1/4, 1 3/8, 1 1/2 and a Scallop Circle Punch. I used Scallop Circle Nestabilities for the scallop circles behind my focal flower panel.

I used some retired Ginger Blossom DSP from SU! on my card (I still love this paper and have TONS of it!!), and put Vintage Brads in the four corners of my upper panel, and both corners of my lower panel.

Each and every panel was pierced...:)

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!
P.S. Mom...I hope you are happy that there is something new on my blog now ;)

Look At Me, I'm DONE!!! Gotta LOVE the Verve!

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday again! Just to warn you...this is going to be a SUPER long post!
I could probably have split this up into five separate posts, but what the heck...I am feeling sassy tonight!! (grin!).

Here are all FIVE of my Anni-VERVE-sary Sketch Challenge Cards!!! Julee has, once again, created the most FABU sketches, and I knew I wanted to play along for a chance to win the latest Verve release!! Have you seen the peeks on the Verve Blog? Holy CANNOLI! I cannot WAIT until Friday for the release!!! As you can tell by my cards here...I LOVE Verve Stamps! They are one of my guilty pleasures for sure!!

For my first card, which is for AVS201, I started by stamping the flowers stems and flowers from Miracles Blossom from Verve Stamps in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock. I also stamped extra flowers. All the stems and flowers were then colored with Copic Markers, cut out and popped up on Foam Tape. I LOVE how the flowers are going "out of the circle" on the main focal panel! Just makes me happy!

All the paper on this card is Bella Rose DSP from SU! and I used Kiwi Kiss & Choice Snow White cardstock. ALL the layers were sponged and paper pierced, and my sentiment, "so jazzed for you" is from Uplifting Phrases from Verve Stamps!! I finished this one off with a double ribbon of Whisper White Organza and Kiwi Kiss Satin, and I added some Clear Circle Rhinestone Brads and Star Dust Stickles in the center of each flower!

For my next card, which is for AVS202, I used one of my all time favorite Verve sets (I say that alot though!!), Up, Up and Away!! I stamped the hot air balloon TWICE onto Choice Snow White Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the basket and balloon with Copic Markers, and then cut out one of the balloons, popped it up onto Foam Tape and then added a coat of Glossy Accents! It is SO super shiny in real life!!!

The paper is Sweet Slumber from SU! (I think that was the name of it!) and it was a gift from my sweet friend and Verve Diva, Jackie Pedro! I thought the cloud paper was PERFECT with these stamps!!! Once again, I paper pierced each and every layer, and my balloon is framed with Oval and Scallop Oval Nestabilities.

My sentiment, "just because", is from Fluttering By from Verve Stamps. The brads are from American Crafts and are an almost exact match to Baja Breeze! LOVE when that happens!!! No ribbon on this one...I wasn't feeling it!!!

For my third card, which is for AVS203, I stamped this AWESOME sentiment from Hundred Hearts by Verve Stamps in Memento Tuxedo Black directly onto my DSP, which is Lovely Flowers from SU! (part of the Level 3 Hostess Set), and this is the same paper I used on the rest of the card as well.

I stamped the sweet heart from Hearts On Fire from Verve Stamps also onto the dsp, cut it out and added a layer of Glossy Accents to make it shine. It is layered on 3/4 and 1 inch Circle Punches. I did flip where this accent went on the sketch as it didn't fit where it was on Julee's sketch :)

I added tons of piercing on this, and Black Vintage Brads on my sentiment panel and on the bottom of my card as well. I did a double ribbon of Whisper White Organza and Black Gingham Ribbon in ribbon knots in the corner!!

I actually already sold this card at work today! SCORE!!!

For my fourth card, which is for AVS204, I used this ADORABLE bunny from Practically Perfect from Verve Stamps! This is also one of my FAVORITE Verve sets and I had the honor of previewing when I was a Verve Guest Diva a few months back (that was an AWESOME experience!!!!!!) I stamped the bunny in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers!! Her bow and necklace have a coat of Star Dust Stickles on them too!!!

She is framed in Circle Nestabilities, and I used one of my all time favorite DSP's on this, Georgia Peach from SU!!! The sentiment, "The Queen of Cute" is also from Practically Perfect!!!

I guess it goes without saying at this point, but I paper pierced each and every layer, and I added two Clear Circle Rhinestone Brads to my top left corner. I finished this one off with a double ribbon of Whisper White Organza and Regal Rose Grosgrain!!!

For my fifth and final card, which is for AVS2o5, I used the FIRST Verve set I ever purchased, and still one of my all time favs, Snow Wonderful!! I first saw this snowman on my pal Verve Diva Michelle Woerner's blog and my Verve obsession began!

I stamped this SUPER sweet snowman in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock, colored him with Copic Markers, and then, using a Two Way Glue Pen, made him SUPER glittery using some Crystal Transparent Glitter from Art Institute Glitter!!!

I, once again, paper pierced the heckaroo out of this card, and I created my circles with SU! Circle Punches (1 1/4, 1 3/8, 1 1/2 & Scallop Circles), and the cardstock is Rose Medium & Intense Kiwi from Prism. The patterned paper on this is Girl Friday from Cosmo Cricket!!! I did a double ribbon on this as well, Raspberry Twill from Taylored Expressions and Very Vanilla Taffeta from SU!!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by! Happy Second Anni-VERVE-sary Verve (and Julee!!)

I Like Boys That Sparkle ;)

Hi everyone!! Happy Wednesday! Here is my card for today's Sketch Challenge on SCS, SC241!! This sketch was PERFECT for my new Edward stamp from The Greeting Farm! My friend Dina and I both ordered him and he came yesterday! I was SO excited to go to work today and get him from her!!!

I started by stamping my Edward (sigh!) in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and I colored him with Copic Markers. His face and hands have three coats of Candelight Shimmerz on them...cause he does sparkle! (I totally need to give props to Dina who suggested that he sparkle! Awesome call Dinsie!!).

For some reason, I always think of Red/Black/White for Twilight cards, and that is what I went with here. My Real Red panels were stamped in Real Red Ink with the swirl stamp from Fictionally Inspired by Artful Inkables, and then run through the Cuttlebug with the Texturz Background from SU!/Sizzix. I then used a Sponge Dauber with some more Real Red Ink to make the pattern pop a bit.

The sentiment, "If I could ream at all, it would be about you", is also from the Fictionally Inspired set from Artful Inkables, as is the "Edward" stamp!! I added paper piercing all around my super sparkly boyfriend (giggle) and finished off my card with two Black Vintage Brads in opposite corners!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!! I have been working on some Verve Sketches for their Anni-Verve-Sary coming up, so I will most likely be back in a bit with those :)

Prettie {Happy Colorful Birthday Danielle!} Wednesday!!!

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!!! Not only is today Prettie Wednesday, it is also our fellow Prettie Girl Danielle's Birthday!! WOOT!!

Today, I am the first stop on this very Prettie Birthday Hop for our friend and stamp designer Prettie Girl Danielle!!!

Two weeks ago, the super sassy Jackie Pedro challenged the Pretties to a color challenge of Bermuda Bay, Soft Suede and one other color of our choice (I could TOTALLY be making that part up...but I seem to remember that was the challenge...LOL!!), and I chose my FAVORITE color of all time, Regal Rose!! What a surprising combo this is...I really love it!!

For sweet Danielle's card, I started by stamping the super sweeet and newly released Aloha Sophia in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and I colored her with Copic Markers.

I stamped all the background panels with the fun hawaiian flowers from the Aloha Add On Set in Bermuda Bay and Regal Rose onto Bermuda Bay and Regal Rose cardstock. I really love how it came out!!

I framed Sophia with Oval and Scallop Oval Nestabilities and of course, added some piercing!! I finished off my card by stamping the Happy Birthday sentiment from Bugs & Fishes and punching it out with my Word Window Punch, and of course, I HAD to add some yummy Soft Suede Polka Dot Ribbon and Regal Rose Grograin Ribbon!!!

The next stop on this Prettie Birthday Hop is over at my pal Jackie R's blog!!! Here is a list of the Birthday Hop order in case you get lost along the way!!!

Stamping Can Be Hazardous To Your Health!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!! Here is my card for today's Color Challenge on SCS, CC231, Don't Fade Away, which was to use any color combo you want, but to stamp with bleach!! This is also for Mercy's ROCKIN' Sketch Challenge, MTSC34!

Now, my focal image, which is these AWESOME silhouette flowers from the Act of Kindness set from There She Goes, were NOT stamped with bleach. I tried to...numerous times, on numerous different colors of cardstock, and pretty much just managed to get VERY lightheaded...with no good stamping result!

SO, I stamped these flowers in Whisper White Craft Ink onto Rich Razzleberry cardstock and added TONS of piercing. Each layer in pierced in fact, as well as sponged with more delish Rich Razzleberry.

My back panel of Rich Razzleberry was run through the Cuttlebug with the Stylized Flowers Embossing Folder and I then ran a paper towel with bleach on it over the raised image. It changed the color JUST a bit, but it's super pretty in real life!!

The patterned paper is Rich Razzleberry and I stamped my sentiment, "Gratitude Is the Memory Of The Heart" directly onto the dsp with Rich Razzleberry ink.

My focal panel has White Brads from American Crafts in each of the four corners, and I finished off my card with Whisper White Organza Ribbon and Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon! LOVE it!!

There She Goes is going to have an AWESOME (as usual!!) release at the end of this month! I KNOW I am teasing, but peeks will start on August 26, and you DO NOT want to miss them! They are UBER fabu!!!

I also want to give a shout out to Tina and Scrapbook News & Review, who awarded me with the ROCKIN' Blog Award over on my side bar! Thanks SO much! I am HONORED!!! MWAH!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!!

A Berry Folded Thank You!!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday! It has been AGES since I have been able to participate in the Technique Lover's Challenge on SCS, and I was SO excited to be able to play today and create one of these SUPER fun Tri-Fold Pocket Cards ala Lynn, TLC233!! I followed Lynn's SUPER easy directions here and was able to make this fairly quickly!

For my Tri-Fold Pocket Card, I used ALL Taylored Expressions products & supplies!!! ALL the cardstock, patterned paper, ribbon and those DARLING strawberry Braddies are from the Berries & Cherries Key Ingredients!! Once again, Taylor has created a DELISH Key Ingredients chock full of everything you need to create delightful cards & projects!! I'd like to think that this project came out quite delightful as well ;)

I started by stamping the circle from Berries & Cherries in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock (this cardstock is the neutral in the Berries & Cherries Key Ingredients!!), and I then stamped the strawberry, not inking up the full *chocolate drip*) in the center of the circle. I stamped the strawberry once more, colored it with Copic Markers (now available in the Taylored Expressions Store...WOOT!), cut it out and popped it up on Foam Tape!! I added Glossy Accents to the *chocolate* portion of the image to make it super shiny!! Underneath my strawberry I stamped the swirl from the Berries & Cherries set in Pretty In Pink so I didn't have TOO much white space (that's how I roll...LOL!)

I framed this circle image using Circle and Scallop Circle Nestabilities and had my focal image ready to go!! I stamped my sentiment, "thank you berry much" onto Choice Snow White Cardstock again, but this time I inked up the words with Copic Markers, huffed, stamped and then punched it out with my Word Window Punch!!

For the inside pockets, I left them plain Choice Snow White Cardstock, as I am not sure what I want to use this for yet, but wouldn't it be perfect to house gift cards? It seems the perfect size to me!! I did add "pull ribbons" to my tags using this delish ribbon from the Berries & Cherries Key Ingredients, and added a strawberry Braddie beneath each ribbon!! SO fun!!

My outside ribbon is adhered onto the top panel of my Tri-Fold Pocket Card, and then covered with my focal strawberry image. I popped up the entire circle focal image with Foam Tape, but it is only adhered to the top panel, that way, you can open the card!!!

The Berries & Cherries Key Ingredients, Berries & Cherries Stamp Set, Copic Markers & Foam Tape are all available right now at Taylored Expressions!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!!

Recipe:
Stamps: Berries & Cherries by Taylored Expressions
Paper: Suede Brown Dark, Rose Medium, Intense Kiwi, Choice Snow White & Doodlebug Patterned Paper, all from the Berries & Cherries Key Ingredients at Taylored Expressions
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black & Pretty In Pink
Accessories: Circle and Scallop Circle Nestabilities, Glossy Accents, Foam Tape, 1 3/8 Circle Punch, Word Window Punch, Ribbon and Braddies from the Berries & Cherries Key Ingredients and Copic Markers

Embossed & Inspired!

Hi everyone! Happy Friday almost Saturday!! Here is my card for today's Inspiration Challenge on SCS, IC192, Bellacor Vases!!!

I was SO inspired by this GORGEOUS Butterfly Vase from Bellacor! I LOVE the Black/Red/Silver combo, so of course, that is what inspired my card today! The layout from my card is the WSC92!!!

I started by stamping the butterfly from Spread Your Wings by There She Goes in Versamark onto Basic Black and then embossed it with Silver Embossing Powder. I have not heat embossed in ages!!! I then cut out my image with Labels 2 (I think!) from Spellbinders and I then ran my Starlite Silver Dewdrop from Tsukineko around the edges for a border!

I used Real Red for my background and card base, and for the background, I ran my panel of cardstock through the Cuttlebug with the Textile Embossing Folder, and I then ran my Starlite Silver ink pad again to hightlight the design!!

I finished off my card with a double ribbon of Whisper White Organza and Basic Black Grosgrain, both my SU!, and I stamped my sentiment, "I'm Here For You" from the Bloom set by There She Goes, and then punched it with my Word Window Punch.

I, of course, added tons of piercing, and the added two Clear Rhinestone Brads for a bit of pop!!

Thanks SO much for looking!!

Recipe:
Stamps: Spread Your Wings & Bloom by There She Goes
Paper: Real Red, Basic Black & Whisper White
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and Versamark
Accessories: Word Window Punch, Silver Embossing Powder, Labels 2 Nestabilities, Paper Piercing Tool and Template, Whisper White Organza Ribbon, Basic Black Grosgrain Ribbon and Foam Tape
