Who Are You Calling A Housewife?

I'm a Domestic Goddess!! SNORT!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Monday! Here is my card for today's challenge on the There She Goes Blog, TSG53, a color challenge of Regal Rose, Kiwi Kiss and Orchid Opulence brought to us by Pam Varnell, the Trendsetter of the week!

I must admit, when I first saw this color challenge, I wanted to say "whatchu talkin' bout Pam", but once I started playing with them, I found them to be tons of fun to work with!!!

Green at Heart by Basic Grey is a DELIGHTFUL mix of these colors, so I pulled some out and got to work. I stamped this SUPER sassy Domestic Goddess, from Domestic Goddess by There She Goes, in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar White and colored her with Copic Markers. I paper pieced her apron with the same pattern of Green At Heart that I used on the card. The layout is from The Sweet Stop, SSS54!

I cut her out with Rectangle Nestabilities and sponged the edges a bit for definition. The sentiment CRACKS me up, "Who are you calling a housewife? I'm a Domestic Goddess". LOVE it! I stamped the sentiment in the same ink and paper as above and cut it out with Oval Nestabilities. I sponged the sentiment panel too and framed it with Scallop Oval Nestabilities out of Orchid Opulence, which is the only time I used this cardstock on my card.

The Kiwi Kiss panel was run through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder (I ALWAYS use this folder, even though I have oodles of other ones!), and I created a Regal Rose bow with my Bow Easy. Two white brads in the corner finish this one off!!

Head on over to the There She Goes Blog and play along with today's challenge! One lucky participant will win a $5.00 Gift Certificate to the There She Goes Store! BONUS!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!
