New Beginnings!

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday!

Due to a snow day yesterday (the roads were fine...I totally COULD have gone to work), I was able to get a bit of stamping done, and this is one of the cards I created.

Through blog surfing, I came upon Katie's story. I don't know Katie at all, but her plight has really touched me, and I donated
HERE to help Katie and her family. I can't even imagine what she is going through right now, and the thoughts that must be running though her mind. Hearing about what she is going through really puts things in perspective doesn't it?

I made this card to send to her. I used the BEAUTIFUL new set from Taylored Expressions, New Beginnings. All of the sentiments in this set are SO gorgeous. For Katie's card, I chose to use this:

"Only as high as I reach can I grow. Only as far as I seek can I go. Only as deep as I look can I see. Only as much as I dream can I be. - Karen Ravn".

I stamped this saying in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream cardstock. I then stamped the outline roses, also from New Beginnings, in Soft Sky and So Saffron all over the panel. I cut out the panel with the new Frame It Up 1 Die. LOVE this die...SO elegant!

I then stamped the rose three times and colored them with Copic Markers. I cut them out and then arranged them on my card. I added some leaves that I cut with the Leafy Branch Die (LOVE this die too!) and then added TONS of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles around the Frame It Up 1 Die.

I've used the January SFYTT again for my layout! Check out Jen's Blog HERE for all the details and how to play along for a chance at a HUGE prize package at the end of the year!

Here are the Taylored Dies I've used on my card today. To learn about how AWESOME Taylored Dies are, and how they work, please click HERE.
