Birthday Party Across The Miles!!

Welcome to this Fantasy Birthday Tour for sweet friend Taylor VanBruggen.  Since we couldn't all be together today to throw a party we're having a virtual Birthday Party Across the Miles and everyone is invited to come along!  And what's a fantasy party without fantasy gifts?  If money were no object, this would be my gift to you Taylor...

I have a feeling you would LOVE a Mountain Dew vending machine in your stamp room...am I right?

You should have made your way here from my sweet pal Karen Giron's Blog!  If not, please start at the mastermind of this hop...Jami Sibley's Blog!

For my card for Taylor, I knew I wanted to use the SUPER cute new Green Acres set which was just released from Taylored Expressions.  This was my favorite set from this release and I am having a hard time putting it down!

I started by stamping the cow in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and then stamped her again onto post it notes, creating two masks for it.  I then stamped two cows behind my first cow and cut out the panel with Circle Nestabilities.  I drew in the horizon and grass lines, as well as tracing the circle, with my Copic Multliner.  This made it much easier for me to color in my image, which I did with Copic Markers.  I stamped the cows another three times, colored their heads with Copic Markers, cut them out and popped them all up with Foam Tape.  Love a bit of dimension!

The patterned paper is all from Lime Twist Fly A Kite from My Minds Eye, and I added texture to the back panel with the AWESOME new Chicken Wire/Woodgrain Impression Plate.  I added a cloud cut out of Choice Snow White using the Cloud Duo and stamped the sentiment, "Party til the cows come home!" onto a piece of vellum which I attached over my horizontal strip of patterned paper.  I adorned this panel with a border created with the Medium Scallop Border Die.  Some Baker's Twine wrapped around the vertical panel provides the only embellishment.

Here are the Taylored Dies I've used on my card.  If you are unfamiliar with how these dies work, you can get all the 411 right HERE.

The next stop on this Birthday Hop is at my dear friend Jessica Diedrich's Blog!

Taylor, Happy Birthday my friend!  I hope you have a WONDERFUL Birthday and that this year is filled with love, laughter, and hopefully a little bit of sleep once Baby Van Bruggen arrives :)

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!
