To My Favorite Bookworm!

Hi everyone!  Happy Saturday!!

Here is a bookmark I created for my Meredith.  She loves to read (like her mama!) and I thought it would be cute if she had her own bookmark.

I started by cutting Fossil Cardstock with the Tag You're It Die-Namics twice.  I embossed one with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.  I threaded some Lemondrop Twine through the top and then added the other tag to the back with some glue.  I wanted to both hide the end of the twine and make the panel super sturdy.

I've used the DARLING I {heart} Books set from My Favorite Things, and this sweet little girl was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock, colored with Copic Markers and cut out.  The patterned paper is Sweet & Sour Soup from Jillibean Soup, and I created a scallop border with the Simply Scallops Die-Namics.

The sentiment, "To My Favorite Bookworm" is also from I {heart} Books and I stamped it onto a panel cut with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics.  I've anchored it to my card with Fossil cardstock cut with the Button Quartet Die-Namics which I threaded with some more Lemondrop Twine.  I added two Candy Dots that I colored with a Copic Marker to match my papers.

Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my bookmark:

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!
