Live Laugh Love!

Hi everyone!! Happy Sunday!!

As promised, I am back today with another Valentine's Day home decor project, inspired by Pinterest!  Now, this was SUPER DUPER easy to make, and I LOVE how it looks in my living room (right next to the floral piece I shared with you yesterday!).

I was SUPER inspired by THIS POST, which I pinned from Pinterest ages ago.  I knew I could re-create the same look, for pennies compared to the price tag on the original.

I picked up some 6X6 canvas from a big box craft store, and using the By The Letters Die-Namics, I cut out the letters for the words I wanted to use...live laugh and love.  I cut the letters from Sweet Tooth Cardstock, and I cut three of each letter (thank you to  my dear friend Karen Giron who clarified that yes, I did in fact cut a g and not a q...lol).

I glued three of each letter together so that they would have a bit of height when sandwiched together.  I then glued them onto my canvas using Tombow Multi Glue (which is what I use for everything...card layers, gluing flower layers together, etc.).

Once I had the letters glued down, I painted the entire canvas with two coats of white acrylic paint.  Once the weather turns and we don't have a foot of snow outside (grin), I will spray this with an matte acrylic sealer to protect it.  Here is a closeup of the words.

And here is a side view so you can see the dimension you achieve when using layers of letters.  Note:  You could, of course, cut your letters from chipboard, but I didn't have any handy (ie: I have no idea where my stash of chipboard is), so layering the cardstock layers worked for me.

Here are the MFT goodies I've used on my project: Thanks SO much for stopping by!!
