Owning Our Story!

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday!

Can you even believe that today is the last day of February?  Time just FLIES right on by...and there is a new MFT Release coming up soon!  Teasers begin on Tuesday (Yay!).  Today, I have a card to share with you using the current Deconstructed Sketch.  I just ADORE Jen and her sketches!  This one is for DS90!

I still have quite a bit of Crate Paper Fourteen papers left.  I really love this paper pad.  I paired four square of my favorite patterns from this pad for my card today.

For the focal panel, I used the Designer Labels 1 STAX Die-Namics to cut the Kraft panel and stamped this GORGEOUS quote from Own Your Story.  I then stamped some flourishes, also from this amazing set, in Pink Lemonade Ink.  I sponged the edges, and actually the edges of all the panels (not the mats), with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.

The flower was cut from Pink Lemonade Cardstock using the Pretty Posies Die-Namics (I know...I know.  I just cannot stop using it), and I crimped it with my crimper.  Super old school (lol).  I topped it off with a Whip Cream Button tied with Hemp Cord, and a Hemp Cord bow behind the flower.

On the inside I stamped "Be Brave", also from Own Your Story, and I added more flourishes stamped with Pink Lemonade Ink.  I spritzed Pink Lemonade ink (using the refill and some water) all over the inside panel, as well as the panels on the front of the card.
