March MFT Creative Challenge!

Hi everyone!! Happy Tuesday!

Welcome to the My Favorite Things Design Team Creative Challenge! The MFT Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature, where we are challenged to explore our creative side using a specific theme, product or technique.

This month, we are highlighting our favorite color combinations using MFT Ink, Cardstock, Buttons, Ribbon and Felt!  I have alot of favorite color combinations, but I think my most favorite is Black Licorice, Razzle Berry, Kraft and Sweet Tooth!  YUM!  Even the names are delicious!

I have two cards to share with you today!  My first card features the á la modes in Martinis On Me!  She is super sassy and fun to color!  I stamped her onto X Press It Blending Card and colored her with Copic Markers.  Both the martini glass she is sitting in, and the one she is holding, were coated with Glossy Accents.

Here is a closeup of her.  I cut out, and layered the panel, with Circle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Circle STAX 2 Die-Namics.

I used the STUNNING Razzle Berry Felt (my favorite!) and the Pretty Posies Die-Namics, to create the flower.  I added a Black Licorice Button in the center tied with Hemp Cord.

On the vertical Razzle Berry panel, I stamped, in Razzle Berry Ink, the largest pattern from Lisa Johnson Designs Darling Dots.  I LOVE the pop this gives!  I added a border of Black Licorice cut with the Crown Border Die-Namics, and stamped, "It's Party Time" onto the bottom of the Kraft panel.

On the inside I added another stamped Razzle Berry panel (I LOVE the look of that!), and stamped another sentiment, "I'll Drink To That".  Cracks me up!

Here are the Copic Markers I've used on my card:

Here are the MFT products I've used on my card:

For my second card, I started with Jen's Deconstructed Sketch, DS94, and I used the FABULOUS Well Worn Greetings Die-Namics to cut the panels for the focal panel.

On the Kraft Oval, I stamped the border in Black Licorice Ink, and the sentiment, "Howdy, Friend" in Razzle Berry Ink, both from the Well Worn Greetings Stamp Set.  I added ribbon/bow combo using Razzle Berry Grosgrain Ribbon.  I stamped the background with Kraft Ink using the chevron stamp from Lisa Johnson Designs Spring Backgrounds.  SO easy and I think it really packs a punch!

I used the Mini Pennants Die-Namics to cut the pennants as shown in the sketch.  I went with two small pennants and one larger one in the center for more visual interest.

On the inside, I stamped more chevrons in Kraft Ink and then stamped another sentiment from Well Worn Greetings, "You're Priceless", in Razzle Berry Ink.

Here are the MFT products I've used on my card:
