Hi everyone! Happy Thursday! Welcome to the second day of MFTeasers! YAY! I love Teaser Time! The new release will be available on Tuesday, May 7th at 10:00 PM HERE in the MFT Boutique!
I have a card to share with you today using the GORGEOUS new Dandelion Wishes stamp set and I also used a brand new product from MFT...stencils!! I've used the Large Chevron Stripes Stencil on my card today!
I went with a CAS card today, and I started with a piece of Smooth White Cardstock. I then created my own color sprays using MFT Ink Refills, and I started on the top with Lemon Drop, then Orange Fizz, and on the bottom Wild Cherry. These were SO fun...I simply used a Mini Mister with water a few drops of reinker!
After creating the background, I stamped the flowers and sentiment in Black Licorice Ink. I then, using a silver spray I've had in my stash forever, placed my stencil over the panel and sprayed the silver spray. It's quite hard to photograph, but in this shot you can see the shimmery chevrons.
On the bottom of the panel I added a piece of Black Licoroce Cardstock and then added some of Jody's Sticky Tape and then added glitter. A bit of embellishments with sequins (you know I HAD to jump on that bandwagon) and a twine bow complete the card.
On the inside I kept it UBER simple...some layers of cardstock and another sentiment from this gorgeous set, "Make It Happen", stamped in Black Licorice Ink. A few more sequins were added for the sheer fun of it!
Here are the MFT products I've used on my card:
