Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!
Here is my card for this week's MFT Sketch Challenge, MFTWSC122! I went a bit CAS this week, and I really love the finished product!
Teacher Appreciation Week is fast approaching, so I took this week's sketch as the perfect opportunity to create a card for my daughter's teacher. I started with a card base of Black Licorice, matted with Sweet Tooth, and then a Kraft layer. The patterned paper is The Good Life from Fancy Pants.
I cut the apple using the Red Delicious Die-Namics from Electric Red Cardstock and then lightly sponged the edges with Electric Red Ink for definition. The stem and leaves were cut from Gumdrop Green Cardstock and then lightly sponged with Gumdrop Green Ink on the edges. The sentiment, "You're Appreciated" was stamped in Black Licorice Ink onto a Sweet Tooth panel cut with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics.
On the inside, I stamped the á la mode Apple For Teacher in Electric Red ink and then added another sentiment from the set, "Thank You For All You Do". I added black pearls to the front and inside.
Here are the MFT Products I've used on my card:
