Hello! Miss Your Face! {WSC504}

 Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new MFT Sketch Challenge, and I ADORE this week's layout!!

I began with a panel of Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock cut using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics, and I then took the panel and embossed it using the All The Stars Cover-Up Die-namics. SO hard to photograph, but it looks so cool IRL.

The patterned paper, from Creepy Confections Paper Pad, was cut using the Tall Tag Duo Die-namics. I cut three strips of Silver Sparkle Card Stock and then added them to the main panel. I then added the tag, popping it up with foam tape.

I used the Sweet Hello Die-namics to the die-cut sentiment, and cut the background from Translucent Vellum, and the "hello" three times from Smooth White Card Stock. I layered the panels together, added them to the Translucent Vellum panel and then added the die-cut word to the card. I cut a strip of Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock using the Skinny Strips Die-namics, and stamped "Miss Your Face", from Little Love Notes, using Versamark Ink and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder. A trio of enamel dots finished the card!

Hello, Sunshine! {WSC503}

 Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new MFT Sketch Challenge, and I LOVE this week's layout!  I've used some goodies from the Vault Release for my card...Polynesian Paradise, Polynesian Paradise Die-namics and Tiki Hut Die-namics! SO fun!

I began with the main panel of Smooth White Card Stock, which I cut using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, and I used the same Die-namics to cut a panel of Natural Card Stock for the "sand" in my scene. I used the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink to create the sky.

The tiki hut was cut from Kraft Card Stock, and I sponged the edges of the "straw" pieces with Kraft Premium Dye Ink. I used Jellybean Green Card Stock for the inside of my hut. I cut this cutie, and the flowers on the top of the hut, from No-Line Coloring Card Stock using the Polynesian Paradise Die-namics, and stamped them with Polynesian Paradise using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I colored them with Copic Markers and popped them up with foam tape. The sentiment panel was cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the Stitched Fishtail Sentiment Strips Die-namics, and I stamped "HELLO, SUNSHINE" using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink.

Best Parents Ever! {CTD500}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new MFT Sketch Challenge, and this week we are celebrating our 500th Sketch! That is A LOT of sketches!! I LOVE this layout, and it is one I use quite often!

Dear friends of ours are having a baby boy, so I created this card for them! I began with a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics, and I used the same Die-namics to cut a strip of patterned paper from the Party Plaid Paper Pad, which I LOVE.

I cut a circle of Smooth White Card Stock using the A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics, and then added the ADORABLE little onesie, cut from Lemon Chiffon Prestige Card Stock, using the Bundles of Baby Clothes Die-namics. The star, cut using the same Die-namics, was cut from Tropical Teal Prestige Card Stock, and I placed it in the center of the onesie. SO Cute!

I popped the onesie up onto the circle panel using foam tape. The sentiment panel was cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics, and I stamped "YOU'RE GOING TO BE THE BEST PARENTS EVER", from Welcome, Baby, using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I finished off the card with a trio of enamel dots.

Check out our 500th Sketch!

Hello! {WSC498}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new MFT Sketch Challenge, and we have a super fun layout this week!

When I saw this week's sketch, I immediately knew I wanted to try Jennifer McGuire's technique using stacking dies. I took my A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics and taped them together. I used the dies to cut Blue Yonder Prestige Card Stock, Pineapple Prestige Card Stock, Peach Bellini Prestige Card Stock and Coral Crush Prestige Card Stock. I then layered them in the order I wanted them in, taped them together and then trimmed one side by cutting the panel using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics.

I cut the main panel of Smooth White Card Stock using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics, and then embossed the panel using the Pegboard Cover Up Die-namics. I then added my circle panel to the card. I used the Little Hello Die-namics to cut Grout Gray Prestige Card Stock, and I cut three panels. I layered them together and then added the die-cut word on top of the circles. I finished off the card with a trio of clear enamel dots.

You're Brew-tiful! {WSC495}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new MFT Sketch Challenge, and I really had so much fun with this week's layout!

I've used the sweet Pure Innocence Grande Sized Love for my card today! She is just so cute! I cut her from No-Line Coloring Card Stock using the Grande Sized Love Die-namics, and then stamped her with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I colored her with Copic Markers and then popped her up onto a panel of Smooth White Card Stock, cut using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics.

The main panel of Kraft Card Stock was also cut using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics, and I stamped the panel using the coffee cup and coffee beans from Sweater Weather on Safari using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink. The three strips of patterned paper were cut from the Woodgrain Whimsy Paper Pad. Once the card was together, I added the sentiment panel, cut from Jellybean Green Card Stock using the Skinny Strips Die-namics, and stamped "You're Brew-tiful" from Grande Sized Love using Versamark and then heat embossed with white embossing powder. Of course, I finished off the card with a trio of enamel dots.

You Are Simply The Best! {WSC484}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new MFT Sketch Challenge, and we have a super fun layout for you this week!

I went with a rectangle element in place of the oval, and I used this sketch to create a card for my daughter's teacher, I am so sad that we lost the end of the year with her! I cut this sweet little teacher from No-Line Coloring card Stock using the Lessons In Love Die-namics, and then stamped her using Lessons In Love with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I colored her with Copic Markers and made her book a composition notebook by adding accents with a white gel pen.

I popped her up onto a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX  Die-namics, and I used the same Die-namics (the largest die) to cut the main panel of patterned paper, as well as the other two panels, from the Fun in the Sun Paper Pad and Positively Peppy Paper Pad! LOVE these new paper pads SO much!! The sentiment panel was cut from Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock using the Skinny Strips Die-namics, and I stamped "YOU ARE SIMPLY THE BEST", from Bitty Thanks & Gratitude, using Versamark and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder! I finished off the card with a trio of black enamel dots.

Sweetie Pie! {WSC491}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new MFT Sketch Challenge, and we have a super fun layout for you this week! My card this week is a bit of a departure from my normal clean aesthetic, but I really had so much fun creating it!

I began with a panel of patterned paper from the Tiny Check Paper Pack cut using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics. I then used the A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics to cut two circles of Kraft Card Stock for my "pie", and I sponged the edges with Kraft Premium Dye Ink. I cut another two circles from the same paper, cut them into strips, inked the edges and then wove them into the pie crust. SUPER fun! My friend Bar did a card like that when this set was released and I was in AWE!

I cut a panel of Smooth White Card Stock using the A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics, and then cut "Sweetie Pie" using the Sweetie Pie Die-namics from Red Hot Card Stock. I popped the die cut sentiment up with foam tape, added foam tape to the circle panel, and then added them to the card. The pie (so cute!) was cut using the Sweetie Pie Die-namics from After Midnight Prestige Card Stock, Kraft Card Stock and Red Hot Card Stock. Before creating the pie, I speckled the After Midnight panel with white spray for an old fashioned look. I popped the pie up with foam tape, and for the third circle element in the sketch, cut a panel of Red Hot Card Stock using the heart from Hug In a Mug Die-namics, and I popped that up as well with more foam tape!

You're My Person {WSC489}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new MFT Sketch Challenge, and I LOVE this week's layout!! I had a lot of fun creating this card!

I began by cutting out this sweet duo from No-Line Coloring Card Stock using the You're My Person Die-namics, and stamped them with You're My Person using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I colored them with Copic Markers and then again with Polychromos Colored Pencils. LOVE.

The main panel of Smooth White Card Stock was cut using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics, and I used the same Die-namics to cut two different patterns of paper from the Sweet Celebration Paper Pack! LOVE. I popped the girls up with foam tape and added the sentiment panel, cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the Skinny Strips Die-namics. I stamped "You're My Person" and popped up the panel with foam tape. I wrapped the main panel with white bakers twine and then added a bow.

Hip Hip Hooray, It's Your Birthday! {WSC487}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new MFT Sketch Challenge, and we have a super fun layout this week! I am a sucker for a sketch with a circle element, and this week's layout has two! SO fun!

For my card, I began with the background, which is a panel of Natural Card Stock cut using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics. I stamped the panel using the Number Jumble Background and Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink.

The piece of cake and cake were cut from No-Line Coloring Card Stock using the Birthdays Take The Cake Die-namics, and were both stamped with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink using Birthdays Take The Cake. The slice of cake was previously cut, stamped and colored for Kathy Rac's 30 Day Coloring Challenge, and that is where the inspiration for my card came from. I colored the cake the same way, first with Copics and then adding shading with Polychromos Colored Pencils. I popped them up with foam tape onto panels of Berrylicious Card Stock cut using the A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics, and then added them to the stamped background. The sentiment panels were cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the Skinny Strips Die-namics, and I stamped two different sentiments from Bitty Birthday Wishes using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. The sentiment panels were popped up with foam tape as well, and I finished off the card with a trio of enamel dots.

Smile, It's Your Birthday! {WSC485}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new MFT Sketch Challenge, and we have a super fun layout this week!

I had fun getting inky for this week's sketch! I began with a panel of Smooth White Card Stock, and using Versamark, stamped the panel using the Number Jumble Background. I heat embossed the panel using white embossing powder, and when it cooled, I sponged on a rainbow of Distress Oxide Inks, blending them together. I used a tissue to remove any ink from the embossed image, and then cut the panel using the Stitched Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics.

The main panel of Kraft Card Stock was cut using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics, and I then popped up the tag panel on top using foam tape. I cut "smile" out four times from Smooth White Card Stock using the Scripty Smile Die-namic, layered them together and then added the die cut word to the tag panel. The sentiment panel was cut from Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock using the Skinny Strips Die-namics, and stamped "IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY", from Bitty Birthday Wishes, stamped using Versamark and then heat embossed with white embossing powder. I popped the sentiment strip up with foam tape onto the tag, and then finished off the card with a trio of enamel dots.
