January MFT Creative Challenge!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!

It's time for the January MFT Creative Challenge!  This month, our challenge is to Spell It Out!  I have two projects to share with you today!

First up, I have a card to share, and I used the Cooper Alphabet to create the background for my spelling element!  I've also used the darling new Pure Innocence Love Is In The Air, just released from MFT!

I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black onto X Press It Blending Card, colored her with Copic Markers, and then fussy cut her out.  I popped her up with Jody Boosters onto a Kraft circle cut with the Pierced Circle STAX Die-Namics, and layered with Smooth White cut with the Circle STAX 2 Die-Namics.

I've used the Blueprints 1 Die-Namics and Blueprints 2 Die-Namics to cut the main Kraft panel and the Smooth White mat.  I stamped "LOVE", with the Cooper Alphabet using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink onto the Kraft panel.  I love how that came out!  The Electric Red flag was cut with the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-Namics, and I stamped the Chocolate Brown panel using Western Sentiments and Chocolate Brown Ink.

I added two hearts, the Electric Red heart was cut with the Rustic Hearts Die-Namics, and the Pink Lemonade heart was cut with the Hearts A Plenty Die-Namics.  I added a Sweet Tooth Button tied with some Hemp Cord.  I added a Pink Lemonade panel embossed with the new Hugs & Kisses Cover Up Die-Namics.  I used the Embossing Pad Duo to do this!

On the inside, I again used the Blueprints 1 Die-Namics and Blueprints 2 Die-Namics to cut the main panel and mat, and I stamped "LOVE" again, using Cooper Alphabet and Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink.  I stamped "Love You" from Pure Innocence Love Is In The Air using Black Licorice Ink.

Here are the MFT products I've used on my card:

For my second project, I created a frame for dear friends of ours that just had to put their beloved cat to sleep.  I used the Little Letters Die-Namics to spell out their cat's name, Tabitha.

I painted the frame with white acrylic paint, and I added a Kraft panel to the opening which I stamped with a beautiful quote from Clearly Sentimental About Pets.

I cut a panel of Primitive White Cardstock using the Clearly Sentimental Label Die-Namics, sponged the edges with Kraft Ink, and added "TABITHA", cut with the Little Letters Die-Namics using Kraft Cardstock.  I sponged the edges of each letter with Kraft Ink to give them more depth.

I added a cluster of flowers that I created using the following colors/Die-Namics:

Plentiful Petals Die-Namics/Pink Lemonade Cardstock
Pretty Posies Die-Namics/Sno Cone Cardstock
Upsy Daisy Die-Namics/Banana Split Cardstock
Royal Leaves/Gumdrop Green Cardstock
Large Leafy Flourish Die-Namics/Sour Apple Cardstock

After cutting each petal/leaf, I sponged the edges with the same color ink to give the flowers and leaves more depth.  I then placed them onto a foam mat and using a rounded tool, gave each petal some dimension.  I really love how they came out!

Here are the MFT products I've used on my frame:
