5 Days To An Organized Crafty Stash – Day One: Stamps!

Hi everyone!  Happy Monday!

This week, on the MFT Blog, you will find some fabulous organization inspiration!  Each day we will be focusing on organizing a specific supply in your crafty stash!  Today we are focusing on stamps!

Like so many stampers, quite a bit of my crafty storage has been inspired by Jennifer McGuire and her organizational features.  In that regard, I use these fabulous Fridge Binz to house my stamps.  I have two Double Fridge Binz and they store both my 4X6 sets and 4X8 sets.  My stamps may look a bit different from yours, as mine are designer samples.  I back each set with a panel of Sno Cone Card Stock and then tape the top to hold them together.  I add a label using my label machine to the top left corner of each stamp set.  I store my sets alphabetically so that I can easily find which set I am looking for.

Here you can see both a 4X8 set and 4X6 set backed and labeled.  Sno Cone is one of my favorite colors, which is why I chose it to back all my sets.

My Pure Innocence stamp sets are housed in a smaller Fridge Binz.  They fit PERFECTLY in this bin.  I also back these with Sno Cone Card Stock and add a label with the set name to the top left corner of the set.  I don’t keep these alphabetized, I just flip through to see which one I want to use.

I use a single Fridge Binz to house my Background stamps.  I LOVE my background stamps.  I keep them all lined up separate them with a piece of Razzle Berry Card Stock between each stamp.  This keeps them from sticking together.

I label the back of each of my Background stamps and then keep them in alphabetical order in the Fridge Binz.

My stamps are on the second set of shelves on my Expedit Unit, along with my Die-namics, for easy reach while I am creating.

  11. Great ideas, love marking the back of the background stamps, I though of using a magic marker, but didn't really know for sure that it would work. TFS
