It’s A Good Day To Be Happy! {CTD336}

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown!  This week we are up to CTD336, and Wanda has challenged us to use light green, golden yellow, orange and brick red!  I was so inspired by the inspiration picture and had to create a brick wall!

Print

This was SO fun to make!  I started with a panel of Smooth White Card Stock and placed the Small Brick Wall Stencil on top.  I taped it down with some 3M tape and then sponged on Brick Red Premium Dye Ink.  Viola!  Perfect brick wall!  LOVE!

Print

I used the Window Die-namics to create the window, and cut the frame from Smooth White Card Stock, and the window panes from Lemon Chiffon Prestige Card Stock.  I used one of the dies from Blueprints 6 Die-namics to create a window box!  I cut it from Smooth White Card Stock and then filled it with flowers and leaves cut with the Fresh Cut Flowers Die-namics!  I used Orange Fizz Card Stock and Daffodil Prestige Card Stock for the flowers, and sponged them with Orange Fizz Premium Dye Ink and Daffodil Premium Dye Ink respectively.  I added centers cut from Smooth White Card Stock, and the leaves were cut from Sour Apple Card Stock and sponged with Sour Apple Premium Dye Ink.  I added an awning to the window cut from Smooth White Card Stock using Blueprints 23 Die-namics, trimmed down to size.  The sentiment panel was cut from Smooth White Card Stock using Blueprints 23 Die-namics, and I stamped the sentiment, “It’s a good day to be happy” from BB Sunflower Sweetheart using Black LIcorice Premium DYe Ink,

Print

On the inside, I cut two panels of Smooth White Card Stock using Blueprints 2 Die-namics and Blueprints 13 Die-namics.  I stamped “Sending You Sunshine” from BB Sunflower Sweetheart using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink, and added another flower.
