Hi everyone! Happy Friday!
It’s time to start the countdown to the fantastic new MFT Release! All of the new products will be available on Tuesday, April 7th at 10:00PM right HERE in the MFT Boutique!
Today I have a card to share with you using the darling new LJD You’re The Sweetest set, LJD Sweet Treats Die-namics and Blueprints 24 Die-namics! LOVE! I’ve used one of the suggested sketches for Blueprints 24 Die-namics on this card.
I started by creating my ice cream cone! It’s SO cute right?? The cone was cut from Kraft Card Stock and lightly sponged with Kraft Premium Dye Ink. The scoop of ice cream was cut from Spearmint Card Stock and lightly sponged with Spearmint Premium Dye Ink. The hot fudge on top was cut from Chocolate Brown Card Stock and I inked it up with Versamark and embossed it with clear embossing powder so it is nice and shiny. All of the elements of this frosty snack were cut with the Sweet Treats Die-namics. I popped the cone up with Jody Booosters onto two panels of Smooth White Card Stock, both cut with Blueprints 24 Die-namics. I stamped the horizontal strip using the Diagonal Stripes Background using Lemon Chiffon Premium Dye Ink.
The flag element was cut from Tickled Pink Prestige Card Stock, and I repeatedly stamped “SWEET FRIEND” from LJD You’re The Sweetest using Tickled Pink Premium Dye Ink. The little tab element was cut from Smooth White Card Stock using Blueprints 24 Die-namics, and I stamped “SWEET FRIEND” using Chocolate Brown Premium Dye Ink. I added a little star, also cut using Blueprints 24 Die-namics, using Lemon Chiffon Prestige Card Stock.
The main panel of Kraft Card Stock was cut with Blueprints 24 Die-namics, and I embossed the panel using the Circle Grid Stencil and Embossing Pad Duo. I added a mat of Smooth White Card Stock, cut with Blueprints 2 Die-namics, and stamped with the Diagonal Striped Background with Lemon Chiffon Premium Dye Ink.
On the inside, I cut another panel of Kraft Card Stock using Blueprints 24 Die-namics, and stamped “Happy Birthday” using Chocolate Brown Premium Dye Ink, and “WITH A CHERRY ON TOP” using Tickled Pink Premium Dye Ink, both from LJD You’re The Sweetest. I added another mat of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 2 Die-namics stamped with Diagonal Stripes Background using Lemon Chiffon Premium Dye Ink.
Thanks SO much for stopping by! Please head on over to the MFT Blog for a listing of all the designers sharing projects today!

ReplyDeleteWow, what an awesome card! I was wondering how you got the hot fudge to look like it was literally dripping down the ice cream, very clever. I think UTEE might work too. I love the way you gave the edges a very soft look with ink on around the shapes. I am really lovin this blue print die-namics too. Thanks for all the great inspiration. I know it takes a lot of time and thought and energy to make a gorgeous card like this. I hope the person you give it to makes them feel very very special!
