Creative Construction With Blueprints: Tags To Fall In Love With!

Hi everyone!  Happy Tuesday!

It’s time for the January MFT Creative Construction With Blueprints feature!  This month, the MFT Design Team is creating tags for Valentine’s Day using our fabulous Tag Builder Blueprints Die-namics!

I created two tags today, one for each of my girls!  I’ve used Tag Builder Blueprints 5 for both of my tags, and made them both shaker tags!  So fun!

For my first card, I’ve paired Tag Builder Blueprints 5 with the darling Ewe Are The Best and Ewe Are The Best Die-namics!  I cut the sheep from X-Press It Blending Card using the Ewe Are The Best Die-namics and then stamped it using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink using Ewe Are The Best.  I colored her (him?) with Copic Markers and then added shimmer to the heart using a Clear Wink of Stella Brush Marker.

The tag was cut from Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock using the Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics, and I added a panel of acetate to create a shaker.  Inside the shaker are “X”s and “O”s cut from Smooth White Card Stock, Ripe Raspberry Prestige Card Stock and Silver Sparkle Card Stock.  I also added silver heart confetti.  I stamped “I Love EWE” onto a panel of Smooth White Card Stock, and added a heart cut from Ripe Raspberry Prestige Card Stock, also coated with a Clear Wink of Stella Brush Marker, and then finished off the tag with some pink baker’s twine.

My second card features Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics paired with Farm-tastic and Farm-tastic Die-namics!  The cow (so cute, right?) was cut from X-Press It Blending Card using the Farm-tastic Die-namics and then stamped using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink using Farm-tastic.  I then colored the cow with Copic Markers.

The tag was again cut using Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics cut from patterned paper from the Hearts & Stripes Paper Pack and Smooth White Card Stock.  I added acetate again to create a shaker card, and used the same components as I did on the first tag.  The sentiment panel was cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics and stamped with Black Licorice Hybrid Ink.  I added a heart cut from Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock, coated with a Clear Wink of Stella Brush Marker, and finished off the tag with black baker’s twine!
