January MFT Release Countdown: Day Five!

Hi everyone!  Happy Friday!

It’s time to begin the countdown to the FABULOUS January MFT Release!  All of the incredible new products will be available on Tuesday, January 10th at 9:00PM right HERE in the MFT Boutique!

Today I have a card to share with you using the ADORABLE new Once Upon A Time, Once Upon A Time Die-namics, Knight In Shining Armor, Knight In Shining Armor Die-namics and the Castle Die-namics!  SWOON!

Print

This was SUCH a fun card to create!  The sweet knight was cut from X-Press It Blending Card using the Knight In Shining Armor Die-namics, and the darling little princess (I LOVE her hat!) and the butterflies were cut from X-Press It Blending Card using the Once Upon A Time Die-namics.  I stamped them all using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink using Knight In Shining Armor and Once Upon A Time respectively.

The main panel was cut from Blu Raspberry Card Stock using Blueprints 1 Die-namics, and I added a mat of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 2 Die-namics.  I added a thin strip of Green Room Prestige Card Stock for the “grass”, and then added the castle.  I cut the castle using the Castle Die-namics from Cement Gray Prestige Card Stock, and I lightly sponged the castle and turret using the English Brick Wall Stencil and Cement Gray Prestige Card Stock.  The accents were cut from Gravel Gray Prestige Card Stock, and the door from Chocolate Brown Prestige Card Stock

The clouds were cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the Puffy Clouds DIe-namics, and the flag on the turret was cut from Periwinkle Prestige Card Stock.  I coated the flag using Clear Wink of Stella Brush Marker.  I then popped up the knight, princess and butterflies using Foam Tape.

Print

Because my scene took up the entire front of my card, I decorated the inside of my card so that I had a place for my sentiment!  I cut two panels of Smooth White Card Stock using Blueprints 1 Die-namics and Blueprints 2 Die-namics.  I stamped the knight again, because he is SO totally adorable, using Cement Gray Premium Dye Ink, and then stamped “And they lived happily ever after.  The End.” using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.
