You Are Mermazing! {CTD343}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new MFT Sketch Challenge, and this week we are up to CTC343! Such a fun sketch!

My card began with the background, which is a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 13 Die-namics. Using the Cascading Stencil with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink, Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Ink and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink. I then spritzed the panel with water. LOVE how it came out!!

I cut a panel of Smooth White Card Stock using the Stitched Oval STAX Die-namics, and I stamped the panel using stamps from Mermazing using In The Buff Premium Dye Ink, Sno Cone Premium Dye Ink and Spearmint Premium Dye Ink. I cut this ADORABLE mermaid from X-Press It Blending Card using the Mermazing Die-namics, and then stamped her with Mermazing using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink. I colored her with Copic Markers and added shimmer to her top and tail using a Clear Wink of Stella Brush Marker. LOVE how shimmery she is!!!

I added a strip of Tropical Teal Prestige Card Stock on the side of the card, and separated it from the stenciled panel using a strip of Silver Sparkle Card Stock. The sentiment panel was cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics, and I stamped “You Are MERMAZING” using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink. I finished off the card with a trio of rhinestones.
