Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!
It’s time! The INCREDIBLE October MFT Release is available now, right here in the Brand Spankin’ New section of the MFT Boutique! YAY!
Today I have a card to share with you using the fabulous new Hand-Lettered Holiday Greetings, Delightful Deer Die-namics, Snow Flurry Stencil and this month’s Free with $60, the Mountain High Die-namics! LOVE!
I had so much fun creating my card! I began with a panel of Smooth White Card Stock using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, and I sponged on Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink, Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Ink and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink. Then, using the new Snow Flurry Stencil, I sponged on Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink. LOVE.
The snowy ground was cut from Smooth White Card Stock first using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, and then again using the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics. I cut the mountains using this month’s Free With $60 Mountain High Die-namics from Grout Gray Prestige Card Stock and tucked them behind the drifts. The trees were cut from Gumdrop Green Card Stock and Field Day Prestige Card Stock using the new Mountain High Die-namics. I arranged them in front of the mountains, and then gave them a light coat of Nuvo Fresh Snowfall Glitter.
I stamped “Season’s Greetings” using the new Hand-Lettered Holiday Greetings with Versamark Ink, and then heat embossed the sentiment using WOW White Embossing Powder. The deer and cardinal were cut using the new Delightful Deer Die-namics, and I cut them from Kraft Card Stock, Milk Chocolate Prestige Card Stock, Electric Red Card Stock and Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock. I lightly sponged the deer using Kraft Premium Dye Ink, and the cardinal’s wing using Electric Red Premium Dye Ink.
Thanks SO much for stopping by! Please head over to the MFT Blog to check out what the rest of the team has created, and for a chance to win an MFT Gift Certificate! Don’t forget to shop the new release in the Brand Spankin’ New Section of the MFT Boutique!

ReplyDeleteI love your card, but especially the background. I love how you achieved a more structured "distressed look" with stencil and ink - I know that sounds crazy, but the OCD person inside me knows what I mean....
