Sweet Holiday Penguins!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!

Today I have a card to share with you using the absolutely ADORABLE new Sweet Holiday Penguins and Sweet Holiday Penguins Die-namics from Stacey Yacula for MFT! OMG, SO exciting!! These darlings will be released tomorrow, October 23rd at 10AM from MFT!

I just ADORE Stacey’s style, and these little penguins have captured my heart! I cut them from No-Line Coloring Card Stock using the Sweet Holiday Penguins Die-namics, and then stamped them using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink with Sweet Holiday Penguins. I colored them with Copic Markers and put them to the side.

The main panel of Smooth White Card Stock was cut using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, and I sponged on Stormy Sky Distress Oxide Ink. I sprayed the panel with water, and then spritzed on watered down white acrylic paint. Once the background was dry, I stamped snowflakes from Snowflake Splendor using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink. I added a rhinestone in the center of each snowflake. The “snow” was cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, and then again using the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics. I added the penguins to the scene, popping them up with Foam Tape. The sentiment panel was cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics, and I stamped “Happy, Merry, Joyful Christmas” from Sweet Holiday Penguins, using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink.
