Rock, Paper, Scissors!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!!

Here is a card that I made for the Get Sketchy Sketch Challenge #13! I just recently found the Get Sketchy Blog, and as I love a sketch challenge, I started to follow them!

For my card, I used the limited edition Digi Stamp from The Greeting Farm, Ebony (aka Alice Cullen!!). I totally LOVE her! I printed her out and colored her with Copic Markers. I then cut her out and embossed the panel with Classic Oval Nestabilities.

I used some Just Rite Stamps to create the sentiment for my card, and I went with "Rock, Paper, Scissors?".

I LOVE this part of Breaking Dawn...I giggle every time I read it (I just finished the entire series...for the 14th time...I know, it's a sickness!)

Alice: "I’ll play you for it. Rock, Paper, Scissors."

Edward: "Why don’t you just tell me who wins?"

Alice: "I do. Excellent."

I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and then embossed it with Black Detail Embossing Powder to really make it show up on the patterned paper.

All the patterned paper on my card is the retired Rockabilly from SU! and I added some of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles to my Alice panel and to the top corner panel!

I received an AWESOME award yesterday from Hayley (she is super sweet!!!). Here are the deets...I am honored that she gave this to me!!!

I could stamp all night with JustRite!!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!

I am SUPER excited to share a fun little set of magnets I created with some FABU new JustRite stamps that I got at Taylored Expressions!!

So, it is no secret that I LOVE lattes! Iced or Hot, Tall, Grande or Venti (OK...I always go Venti...lol!!)...I LOVE coffee!!! So I knew I *had* to have the Caffeine Centers & Borders set!!! SO fun!!!

I stamped my image using the 2 inch Wooden Stamper with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock, and then cut them all out with Circle Nestabilities. I framed them with Circle and Scallop Circle Nestabilities in coordinating colors of Prism cardstock in Intense Orange, Blush Red Dark and Island Mist Light. Can you tell I LOVE these colors? They are the colors used in my new blog banner!!!

I colored all my latte cups with Copic Markers, switching out the colors of the lids, cups and liners on all of them. I added a shadow behind each cup ala Denise aka Peanutbee (she is SO awesome at that...clearly I need ALOT more practice!).

I had some business card magnets hanging around (ok...I have been hoarding them!), and so I punched out a magnet circle using my 1/4 Inch Circle Punch and adhered a magnet circle to the back of each of my creations. Super easy!!


These magnets are already proving to be invaluable in my stamp room!! I have a magnetic, dry erase calendar board where I *try* and keep myself organized, so that is where all my latte magnets live now!!

As you can see, it makes it SUPER easy to keep all my "to do" lists handy...like this one reminding me to order the June Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions on June 20th!!!

These stamps are JustRite!!

Hi again everyone!! I am on a Stamping Whirlwind lately!!! I just received some brank spankin new JustRite stamps today, so I just HAD to play!!!

I decided to use this week's Color Challenge, CC188, again. I LOVE these colors together!!! I used the Baby Stamp Ensemble from JustRite, which is totally AWESOME!!! LOVE their new Harmony Classic Oval Stamper!! AND, I LOVE LOVE LOVE how this size is the PERFECT fit in my oval nesties!! Don't ya LOVE it when that happens???

The base of my card is Basic Black, with a layer of Whisper White and then a final layer of Pink Pirouette, which I ran through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder. I stamped the image and oval sentiment on Whisper White, ran it through the Cuttlebug with my Oval Nestie, and then ran another piece of Basic Black with the scalloped nestie!! Easy Peasy! These DARLING baby shoes were watercolored with Pink Pirouette SU! ink and an Aquapainter,

For the bottom border, I used the SU! Scallop Punch, layered it with a strip of Whisper White, and finished it off with this GORGEOUS May Arts ribbon that I have been hoarding for quite some time!!!

I also added some Silver Brads to the sentiment...too cute!!

Now, I just need someone to have a baby girl so this card can have a home!!
