Lovin' These Colors!!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday! Here is my card for today's Color Challenge on SCS, CC187, Chocolate Tangerine Kisses!! LOVE this color combo...Emily is truly the Color Master!!!

For this card, I used the new Season of Friendship set from the Winter Mini Catalog. I have had this a week or two, but this is the first time I inked it up!!

I created the sun by punching out a circle with my 1 inch Circle Punch, and then using sponge daubers, sponged on Summer Sun and then Tangerine Tango. My original thought was to do a Michelle Zindorf inspired background, but after 2 failed attempts, I left it this way!!

I stamped and cut out leaves and attached them to the branches so that they overhang the circle panel that the tree is stamped on. The scallop circle was created with my Coluzzle & Corner Rounder Punch. I added a thin panel of Kiwi Kiss Urban Garden DSP and used some new Alpine Ribbon Originals. The background is Tres Chic stamped in Tangerine Tango ink onto Tangerine Tango cardstock. I added some piercing and vintage brads and called it done!! The finished card size is 5 1/4 X 5 1/4.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!
