Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks Begin!

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday! Welcome to the first day of sneak peeks for the newest (and totally AMAZING) Taylored Expressions release!!

Today, the Baker's Dozen are sharing an absolutely BEAUTIFUL new set with you called Discover Your Wings.

As you may know, every three months Taylored Expressions introduces a new set to the Taylored Expressions Giving Tree Program, and Discover Your Wings is the latest set in this charitable program. This set was designed by the super talented Nancy McKinney and this beautiful new set will support the latest charity for three months after release!

For this new set in the Taylored Expressions Giving Tree Program, $7.00 from the purchase of each set will be donated to the Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep Foundation.

The Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation is a charity that serves families dealing with infant death. Their mission statement is “To introduce remembrance photography to parents suffering the loss of a baby with the free gift of professional portraiture. We believe these images serve as an important step in the family’s healing process by honoring their child’s legacy.” NILMDTS administers a network of almost 7000 volunteer photographers in the US and 25 other countries. This is a wonderful charity that Taylored Expressions is honored to support and I would encourage you to learn more about them by going to their website.

I have created two cards using this gorgeous new set...the images and sentiments are SO versatile! It was so easy to get two (and more!) totally different looks with this set!

For my first card, I used the Chalkboard Technique from SCS. It was SO easy to do! I started by stamping this GORGEOUS silhouette image in Whisper White Craft Ink onto Black Cardstock and I then, using my Stampin' Pastels that were in my "sell pile" (smile!), added color to the image!

I used all Prism Cardstock on my card (I finally make the "official" switch over and couldn't be happier!) and specifically used Black, Blush Red Medium and Sunflowers Medium. I added tons of piercing and of course, some of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles to finish it off!!

For my second card, I wanted to make this AMAZING quote, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.", to be my focal point. I started by stamping the quote in Memento Potters Clay and then cut it out with Classic Oval Nestabilities. I then stamped two different butterflies in this set in Memento New Sprout and Memento Cottage Ivy, and while keeping the nestie on the cardstock, I used Memento Canteloupe and Memento Tangelo and sponged around the edge.

ALL the cardstock, patterned paper and ribbon on this card are from the limited edition Fabulous Fall Key Ingredients - Winnie's Walls. These are limited so make sure to pick yours up before they are gone gone gone!!

I added a border and some butterflies with MS punches, and of course, more of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles finish off my card!!

Come blog hoppin' with me to see what the Baker's Dozen girls have cooked up with Discover Your Wings today! Be sure to leave some love along the way because one lucky commenter will win a Discover Your Wings stamp set! How cool is that?

All you have to do is leave a comment on each Baker's Dozen blog today for the best chance to win! One lucky winner will be chosen at random from all of the comments on one of the blogs, but the trick is that nobody knows which blog it will be! You have until 6am PST on Thursday to enter. The winner will be announced Friday morning on Taylor's blog.
