Happy Birthday!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!

Here is a card I created using the DARLING Mavis Has A Daisy from Stamping Bella. As a cat person (I have four), I just ADORE Mavis!! Speaking of Mavis...there is an ADORABLE new Mavis in the new Stamping Bella Release! You can see the entire new release HERE...can you even stand the cuteness of the new line, Little Peep's? I MUST have them all!

The layout is Saturday's sketch from The Sweet Stop, SSS67, but I veered off a tad bit, placing my center horizontal panel a little lower than the sketch called for.

I stamped Mavis in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Bella's Bestest Cream Paper and colored her with Copic Markers. All the patterned paper is from Thrift Shop by October Afternoon and I used the floral pattern to paper piece her dress.

I cut out and embossed the focal image with Rectangle Nestabilities and the panel under her was run through the Cuttlebug with the Polka Dots Embossing Folder. I sewed each layer on my sewing machine and the border is from the Die-Namics Open Scallop Die.

The sentiment, "Happy Birthday" is actually from Billboardabella. I love the small sentiments that come with her and find them SUPER handy! You can also pick up just Billboardabellas words only. I cut out and embossed the sentiment panel with Circle Nestabilities and added a bow of Twill Tape that I created with the Bow Easy.

This week's Bellarific Friday Challenge is Paper Piecing (which I did a bit of on Mavis today!). It's also the first Bellarific of August, and if you haven't heard the big news, then keep on readin'!

The Babe's are looking high and low for a new friend to join the rank of Bella Babe-ness. If you think you are Babe worthy and want to strut your talent every week...then here's what ya gotta do!

Submit your bestest cards and play along with our challenges for all 4 weeks in August. Since a Babe requirement is submitting for BellaRIFFIC friday's, you'll be getting your feet wet and showing of your creativity.

Also, make sure to head on over tomorrow to Bloggabella to see what Tantalizing Toosday Deal Emily has cooked up!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!
