Birthday Wishes!

Hi everyone! Happy Sunday!!

I have been stamping away, and here is a card I created with some delightful goodies from Taylored Expressions!!

I LOVE the Friendship Blooms stamp set, and of course, the coordinating Friendship Blooms Taylored Dies. I find myself reaching for this set over and over...it is truly a staple in my stamping arsenal (I love saying stamping arsenal...fyi...LOL).

I started by stamping the flower stems in Memento Bamboo Leaves onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and I then cut out and embossed the panel with Circle Nestabilities. I cut out the flowers, using the Friendship Blooms Dies, from the same patterned paper I used on the rest of the card, Hopscotch from Basic Grey. I then popped the flowers up with Foam Tape and added a button tied with Bakers Twine to the center of each.

Instead of using a sentiment from Friendship Blooms, I decided to go with a sentiment from the newly released, and another staple, It's A Banner Day 1. I also used the coordinating Banner Day Die 1. LOVE these! I chose to make this a Birthday Card, and I used the "Birthday Wishes" sentiment, which I stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. The frame of the banner was stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa, and I stamped off once before stamping onto the Kraft cardstock.

I embossed the pink background with the Scallops & Circles Impression Plate, and added a white brad to each corner. A border created with the Small Scallop Border Die separates the cardstock panel from the patterned paper panel, and I wrapped some Bakers Twine around a few times for good measure.

Here are the Taylored Dies, and Impression Plate, I've used on my card today:

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!
