A Friend Is Like A Rainbow!

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!  You know what Wednesdays mean around here right?  Another MFT Sketch!  This week we are up to MFTWSC24!

For my card today, I went a little different.  When I saw the circle element on the right side of the sketch, I immediately thought of the AMAZING new Rainbow Die-Namics from My Favorite Things!  I adore ALL of the Die-Namics, but this Rainbow Die-Namics really makes me smile!

I cut out my rainbow in the tradtional ROYGBIV colors and then added clouds cut from the Cloud Trio Die-Namics out of My Favorite Felt in Puff Cloud White to either end.  The sentiment is from the FABULOUS Great Outdoor Sentiments and I cut it out with the Polka Dot Frame Die-Namics.  I added crystals underneath the sentiment in the ROYGBIV pattern as well.  The Kraft background was embossed with the Seeing Spots Embossing Folder and the Sno Cone panel was embossed with the Polka Dots Embossing Folder.  I added a simple border under the Sno Cone panel with the Simply Scallops Die-Namics.

For the inside I kept it super simple with lots of white space for a handwritten greeting.  I added another sentiment from Great Outdoors Sentiments and added a sun cut with the Sunshine Die-Namics.  I embossed the sun with the same embossing folders I used on the front.

Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:

We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2011.

Upload your creation to SCS using keyword MFTWSC24 for a chance to win this weeks prize (see above). You have until noon Tuesday, June 21 to play along.  Check out the FAQ - Wednesday Stamp Club thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your card to the gallery.
