Have A Sweet Day!

Hi everyone!  Happy Sunday!!

I had some stampy time yesterday and so I whipped this creation up for quite a few DTGD Challenges:

DTGD11Kharmagirl (my challenge!)

Can you tell I am really having fun with Dare To Get Dirty 2011?  Remember, you must be a Fan Club Member to see the challenges!

For my card, I stamped one of my favorite a la modes from My Favorite Things, Birthday Girl, colored her with Copic Markers and then cut out the panel with Petite Oval Nestabilities.  All of the patterned paper is Splendid from Authentique and I used one of the patterns to paper piece the cupcake liner.

The sentiment, "Have A Sweet Day" was cut out with the Say What? Die-Namics and I added a flower cut with the Pretty Posies Die-Namics.  In the center of the flower I added a button cut with the Button Quartet Die-Namics and tied with a bit of Blossom Baker's Twine.  The scallop border was created with the Simply Scallops Die-Namics and I added tons of paper piercing.

The DELISH pleated ribbon is from my friend Corinna's store, The Ribbon Carousel, and I added three brads to the top left corner to finish off the front.

For the inside, I added more of the same Splendid papers, and stamped this gal again in Pretty In Pink ink.  I added another sentiment, "Make A Wish", along with some more piercing.

Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card today:

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

  1. Love it! The inside is gorgeous, too. I only have 11 more to go on the DTGD challenges. I'm determined to do a card for each challenge like a I did last year but time is getting away from me. Sleep is for sissies anyway, am I right? ;)

    Hugs,
    Brandi
