Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!!
Now that we've teased and tempted you all week long, it's almost time for you to grab all of your favorite Brand Spankin' New products from MFT.
But first…it's time for our Die-namics Feature and Pre-Release PEP Rally!
Our Design Team has been busy creating jaw-dropping and inspiring projects for you, and we've saved the best for last.
Here is an in-depth look at this month's Die-namics, with an opportunity to revisit the amazing sets being released tonight at 10pm EST RIGHT HERE.
And while we are at it, how about we make your life even easier with a "cheat sheet" of all that's new? Head over to the MFT Blog to print out a shopping list.
For my card today, I wanted to revisit the AMAZING Contempo Cage Die-Namics and Stamp Set! I used this set on Saturday to create a card (you can see that post HERE) and had SO much fun with this set, that I just kept going! Today, I chose to use this set to create a birthday card!
I started by cutting the bird cage twice, once from Kraft cardstock and again from the denim patterned paper, which is from Random by Crate Paper. I then layered the denim cage over the Kraft one, taking care to not pop out the pieces on the Kraft cage. I added strips of tape to the back to keep all the pieces together.
I used the same patterned paper to cut out the bird and wing. I popped up the wing with a Jody Booster for extra dimension. For the sentiment, I stamped "Happy Bird-Day" onto a panel cut with the File Tab Die-Namics, which I shortened using Joanne's tip HERE. I added a border of patterned paper using the new Postage Stamp Border Die-Namics. LOVE it.
After attaching a big twill bow, I pulled out the Notched Tag Die-Namics and cut a tag out of Kraft. I stamped "Tweet Tweet" from Contempo Cage and then added another bird, cut from patterned paper, using the Notched Tag Die-Namics again. On both the focal panel bird and the little bird on the tag, I used Baby Braddies for their eyes.
For the inside, I added some more patterned paper, and then stamped another sentiment from Contempo Cage, "You're An Amazing Chick" (lol...love that) and then added another patterned paper bird that I cut with the Contempo Cage Die-Namics.
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card today:
