MFT Creative Challenge - Vintage!

Hi everyone!  Happy Tuesday!!

In 2011, MFT is working harder than ever to inspire you, and we have come up with something we think you'll really enjoy.  Our Design Team Challenge is a new monthly features, where we challenge our design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme, product or technique.  This month, we're exploring the lush vintage style.

Now, I must admit...normally the idea of doing a vintage card would be a bit...scary.  However, with the brand new Vintage Cameo stamp set and Vintage Cameo Die-Namics (available for purchase with the Vintage Cameo stamp set OR without), this card was super easy (and fun!) to create!  I even went with a technique (I know...crazy) and for the focal cameo image, created a Cracked Glass panel.

All of the patterned paper is Sunshine from My Minds Eye, and I stamped cut a piece with the Vintage Cameo Die-Namics.  I then stamped one of the cameos and, using UTEE, created the Cracked Glass panel (tutorial HERE).  I cut the frame out of a different pattern and added some pearls.

I used the new Wonky Scallop Border Die-Namics for the border, and added some lace trim and twill tape.  I created a big bow and topped it with a button cut with the Button Quartet Die-Namics, tied with a bit of twine.  I added some more pearls and a pearl stick pin as well.

For the inside I added another piece of patterned paper, and simply stamped a sentiment from Vintage Cameo, "Happy Birthday" and added some more stitching and pearls.  LOVE the font on the sentiments in this set.

Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:
