I am SO excited about the set I am previewing today...Thankful!  This set is the newest set in the Lasting Impressions line at Taylored Expressions and was concepted by our very own Jami Sibley!  There is such a variety of images and sentiments in this set, which has a total of 15 stamps, which range from cutesy to elegant, and these images are a DREAM to color!

I had alot of fun creating this card!  I started by stamping the image in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers.  I added LOTS of shimmer with Spica Glitter Pens (love the soft shimmer you get with these!).  I cut out the panel with Circle Nestabilities, sponged the edges with Memento Cantaloupe ink, and then, like my friend Jody, sewed around the entire panel, going one stitch at a time manually on my Janome Sew Mini.  My stitching is NO where as perfect as hers always is, but I am super happy with it...and it only look 8 minutes (lol...yes, I timed it).

Underneath the focal panel I added a panel cut with the Frame It Up 1 Taylored Die.  I actually cut two and then pieced them together to make it large enough to frame the focal panel perfectly.  I then added a Maya Road Wooden Button to each side, tied with Bon Bon Twine.

All of the patterned paper is All Spice from My Minds Eye, and the sentiment, "Thankful Thoughts" was stamped and then cut into a sentiment flag.  I anchored this to my card with a trio of leaves cut with the AWESOME new Mini Leaves Taylored Dies (love!), and another Maya Road Wooden Button for good measure.  I finished this one off with tons of stitching.

Here are the Taylored Dies I've used on this card:
