Taylored Expressions Calendar Challenge May!

Hi everyone!  Happy Thursday!

Today I have another page of my Desktop Calendar to share with you as part of the Taylored Expressions Calendar Challenge!  I had so much fun creating this!  There are lots of fabulous of calendar products available HERE at Taylored Expressions....we'd love you to play along...Taylor's blog has all the deets!

I had so much fun creating this month's page!  I started with the gorgeous new Petite set, Daisy Bouquet, from Taylored Expressions, and I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock.  I colored the image with Copic Markers and then fussy cut it out.  I used the fabulous full color storage panel from the set as a basis for the colors I used.

The patterned paper is the new Indie Chic Saffron from My Minds Eye, which I ADORE.  I added a strip of patterned paper and then layered another pattern over it that I cut with the From The Heart Frame Taylored Die.  The sentiment, "Love You", from Daisy Bouquet, was stamped onto a piece of Choice Snow White Cardstock cut with the new Mini Tags Taylored Dies (swoon!), and I tied it around the vase with a bit of jute twine.

I sponged the edges of the patterned paper panels, and the mini tag, using Frayed Burlap Distress Ink!  LOVE LOVE LOVE these inks for sponging...they make me happy!   Here is a closeup of the vase of flowers.

Here is a peek at the packaging on Daisy Bouquet.  See how I simply colored mine in the same colors?  Easy peasy!

Here are the Taylored Dies I've used on my card:
