MFTeasers: Day Seven!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!

Now that we've teased and tempted you all week long, it's almost time for you to shop for your favorite Brand Spankin' New products from MFT. But first... it's time for our Die-namics Feature and Pre-Release Pep Rally! Our Design Team has been busy creating jaw-dropping and inspiring projects for you, and we've saved the best for last. We've taken an in-depth look at this month's Die-namics, while re-visiting the amazing sets being released tonight at 10 PM EST RIGHT HERE in the MFT Boutique. And while we are at it, how about we make your life even easier with a "cheat sheet" of all that's new?  Head over to the MFT Blog to print out a shopping list. Here are the details about the upcoming release:
  • You can attend the New Release Party on October 16 from 8-10 PM EST HERE in the MFT forum, where you can WIN PRIZES!
  • The MFT release, including all new stamp sets and Die-namics, is on October 16 at 10 PM EST.  You'll find all the newest products HERE at release time.
  • If you'd like to see all the designers' posts for today, please click on over to the MFT Blog NOW.  Be sure to leave comments as you go for the chance to win one of 2, $10 gift certificates given away daily.  The winners will be posted on October 16 just before the release party, on the MFT blog.
Today I have a Project Life page to share with you!  I know, it's quite a departure from my normal lots o' layers cards, but like so many of us, I was enthralled with the idea of quick and easy memory keeping.

I'll be honest...I started out with a bang and then, well, life kind of got in the way, and my poor PL album has been neglected.  I have a new urge to get back into it, and that's all because of the fabulous new Laina Lamb sets from MFT, Document It December and Journal It Top Ten, and of course, the new Insert It Die-Namics and Accent It Flags & Tags Die-Namics, all of which are being released tonight!  These new products compliment PL perfectly and I truly could not be more excited!!

Here is a shot of my page.  Sheesh...it's REALLY hard to get a good picture due to the plastic sleeves....if anyone has a tip about that PLEASE let me know!  This page is all about my Meredith and the day she got her ears pierced!  You can see that she goes from smiling, to wary, to scared, to crying.  That pretty much sums up that morning (grin).

I used it the Insert It Die-Namics to cut this panel from patterned paper, which is all Sunny Side from Pebbles.  I cut out "EAR" using the new High Rise Upper Case Alphabet Die-Namics.  Using the new Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-Namics, I cut two flags and spelled out "piercing" with the Banner Day Alphabet.  I anchored the flags with a Sour Apple Button tied with some Hemp Cord.  I cut a panel with the Accent It Flags & Tags Die-Namics and stamped it with one of the stamps from Document It December.  I then wrote in the date she got her ears pierced.

In this next picture (here she is still happy, he was marking her ears with a marker), I used the Insert It Die-namics and stamped it with one of the stamps from Journal It Top Ten.  I then added in the numbers and "Favorites" to the top.  I cut it down a bit to make it an accent for the picture, and then Meredith wrote in her top 5 favorite pairs of earrings.  I stamped "My Favorite Things" from Journal It Top Ten and cut it out with the Accent It Flags & Tags Die-Namics.

On this next panel, she had already had her left ear pierced and now is SUPER scared to have the right done since the element of surprise has gone.  I cut a big flag using the Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-Namics and spelled out "OUCH" with the Highrise Upper Case Alphabet Die-Namics.

On this panel I added a trio of elements cut with the Accent It Flags & Tags Die-Namics.  LOVE the punch they add to a panel.  Oh, this picture was when we first arrived and she was blissfully ignorant about what was to come.

Finally, I just have to share pictures taken right after her ears were pierced.  She cried all the way to the car and then realized they didn't hurt anymore. Sigh

Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:

Thanks SO much for stopping by!
