Hi everyone!! Happy Friday!
Today I have a framed creation to share with you. A few months ago, when my cousin had her daughter, I made THIS FRAME for my Aunt. She loved it, and my cousin asked me to make something in memory of her mother in law, who passed away just before her daughter was born.
I wanted to make something simple and understated, and this is what I came up with. I had this frame handy and I used several patterns of My Minds Eye Ruby for the background. I used the awesome Designer Labels STAX 2 Die-Namics to cut the Steel Grey and patterned paper panel.
I created a cluster of flowers out of both patterned paper, Pink Lemonade Cardstock, and Sweet Tooth Felt, using the Rolled Flower Die-Namics, Large Rolled Rose Die-namics and Mini Rolled Roses Die-Namics. I used the awesome new Leaf Filled Flourish Die-Namics underneath to ground the flowers.
The sentiment, "A Grandmother's Love is Forever" is from Clearly Sentimental About Grandparents, and I stamped it in Black Licorice Ink. This Clearly Sentimental set is one of my favorites.
Here are the MFT goodies I've used on my card today:
