Hi everyone!! Happy Tuesday!
It's time for the January MFT Design Team Creative Challenge! The MFT Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature, where we are challenged to explore our creative side using a specific theme, product or technique! This month, we were challenged to create with our Circle STAX!
I LOVE the Circle STAX...I use them on probably 90% of my cards...they are my most used Die-Namics for sure! I have two cards to share with you today...one using the Circle STAX 1 and 2 to create a fun background, and the other in a more traditional way...as a panel for my image.
Here is my first card. I had SO much fun creating this and I super love it (smile). I started with a panel of Kraft Cardstock, and then, using the Circle STAX 1 and Circle STAX 2 Die-Namics, I cut more circles using Kraft Cardstock. I then attached my circles together with Jody Boosters and placed them on my card so I could figure out the pattern. Once I had them placed, I adhered them to my card and trimmed the edges.
It's pretty dimensional, here is a side view. I love the Kraft on Kraft look.
I kept the embellishments super simple. I stamped a sentiment from Homespun Hearts, "I Heart You" onto a panel of Sweet Tooth Cardstock cut with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics. I cut a heart from Berrylicious Felt using the new Heart STAX Die-Namics, and added a Pink Lemonade Button tied with Hemp Cord. The card base is Pink Lemonade to pull it all together.
On the inside I added more panels, and another sentiment, "Will You Be Mine".

For my next card, I used my Circle STAX to cut a panel for my image. This is how I most often use them. I stamped this cutie, Pure Innocence Love You With All My Heart onto X Press It Blending Card. I then cut it out, and layered it, with the Circle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Circle STAX 2 Die-Namics. A favorite look of mine is a white panel layered onto another white panel, as I've done here.

Here is a closeup of her. I paper pieced both her dress and heart with the same papers I've used on my card, Fourteen from Crate Paper (I've been using this alot lately...just to warn you lol).
I've used the Circle STAX 1 and Circle STAX 2 Die-Namics again, this time for the sentiment panel. I separated the two panels with Jody Boosters. I've used the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-Namics and Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-Namics for the trio of flags behind the image. I finished it off with a Pink Lemonade Button tied with Hemp Cord. And yes, in case you needed confirmation, I seem to be unable to make a card without Hemp Cord.
On the inside I added more patterned paper, and another sentiment from this sweet set.
Here are the Copic Markers I've used on my card:
