Special Blessing {MFTWSC134}!

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new MFT Sketch Challenge, and this week we are up to MFTWSC134!  It's another great sketch that is perfect for SO many different styles!  I went with a soft, romantic look this week!

I started by cutting a piece of Kraft Cardstock using the amazing new Pierced Circle STAX Die-Namics.  I stamped "You are a special blessing in my life" from the gorgeous Cheerful Blessings set, in Black Licorice Ink.  I added pearls on both the top and bottom of the sentiment.

Using the Rose Builder Stencil and Primitive White Cardstock, I created the pattern with Modeling Paste.  I lightly sponged the edges with Kraft Ink when it was dry.  I LOVE using stencils and modeling paste!  It's my new obsession!

On the left side I stamped the Factory Green panel with Western Backgrounds using Factory Green Ink.  I cut the roses and leaves using the Roses and Leaves Die-Namics from Smooth White Cardstock.  The leaves were stamped with Factory Green ink and the roses with Pink Lemonade and Bubblegum Ink.  LOVE.

On the inside I stamped another sentiment from Cheerful Blessings, "there is sunshine in my soul for you" in Black Licorice Ink.

Here are the MFT products I've used on my card:

  2. Jodi! This is absolutely brilliant! I do NOT like the mixed media look, but I LOVE that layer that you did with the modeling paste. Love. It. And the colors and the Western Backgrounds (which I now have to put on my must have list) and the roses.... SIGH. I think I need CPR. I'm pretty sure I held my breath the whole time I typed that!!!
