Stamping A Latte: Let’s Chill! {CTD342}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge, and this week, Monika has challenged us with the primary color palette of red, yellow, blue and orange!

OK, this one was hard for me! I am not usually a primary color kinda gal, but I was inspired to create a row of ice-pops using the LJD You’re The Sweetest set! I started by cutting out four ice pops from Smooth White Card Stock using the LJD You’re The Sweetest Die-namics. I then stamped them using LJD You’re The Sweetest using Daffodil Premium Dye Ink, Red Hot Premium Dye Ink, Lush Lagoon Premium Dye Ink and Orange Fizz Premium Dye Ink. The sticks were cut from Natural Card Stock using the LJD You’re The Sweetest Die-namics. I popped them up with Jody Boosters onto a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 1 Die-namics, which I layered with a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 2 Die-namics.

On the bottom of the panel, I stamped “Let’s Chill” using the same colors of the ice pops. I alternated the colors for a fun design. I then added a panel of Black Licorice Card Stock stamped with the Diagonal Stripes Background using Sweet Tooth PIgment Ink. I added some Hemp Cord and tied a bow topped with a Lemon Drop Button.

On the inside, I cut another two panels of Smooth White Card Stock using Blueprints 1 Die-namics and Blueprints 2 Die-namics, and stamped “YOU’RE THE SWEETEST” using Red Hot Premium Dye Ink, Lush Lagoon Premium Dye Ink and Orange Fizz Premium Dye Ink. I used my Misti to stamp the sentiment, easy peasy!
