What’s The Scoop? {CTD396}

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge, and this week, Lisa has challenged us to use raspberry, peach, plum and white!  What a YUMMY combo!

I LOVE this week’s inspiration picture, so I pulled out the super fun You’re The Sweetest set and You’re The Sweetest Die-namics!  I cut then cone and scoops from Smooth White Card Stock using the You’re The Sweetest Die-namics.  I stamped the cone using Peach Bellini Premium Dye Ink, and the scoops using Ripe Raspberry Premium Dye Ink and Pure Plum Premium Dye Ink.  I arranged the cones onto a circle of Smooth White Card Stock cut with the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics

The main panel was cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the Proof Positive Cover Up Die-namics.  I then used the same Die-namics to cut out Peach Bellini Prestige Card Stock, Ripe Raspberry Prestige Card Stock and Pure Plum Prestige Card Stock.  I then inset little + onto the Smooth White Card Stock frame.  I popped up the circle panel using Jody Boosters, and then trimmed a piece of Pure Plum Prestige Card Stock down, stamped “What’s The Scoop” using Versamark Ink and then embossed it with White Detail Embossing Powder.  I popped it up with Jody Boosters and then added a trio of rhinestones to finish off the card.

  2. Jodi,

    I wasn't at all sure that I needed the Plus Sign Cover-up. I didn't think I would get much use from it...but, your sherbet/ice cream color background is inspirational!

    No wonder I love hanging out on these boards. I wish I had found them a whole lot sooner!
