Life Without You is Unbearable! {WSC467}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new MFT Sketch Challenge, and we have a super fun layout to work with this week!

I really had so much fun with this sketch! I began with a panel of Smooth White Card Stock and cut it using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics. I then used the same Die-namics to cut a panel of Ripe Raspberry Prestige Card Stock, and I then trimmed it down. I added a strip of patterned paper cut from the Black & White Stripes Paper Pack to either edge of the Ripe Raspberry panel.

The circles were cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the new A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics. These are NEVER leaving my desk! I cut the pandas (aren't they SO cute?!) from No-Line Coloring Card Stock using the Panda Pals Die-namics and stamped them with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink using Panda Pals. I colored their cheeks with Copic Markers and then arranged the circles onto the panel, and added the pandas, popping them up with Foam Tape. I used the Fab Foliage Die-namics to cut the leaves from Green Room Prestige Card Stock and then added them to the panda panels. The sentiment was split, and I stamped half on the top of the card and half on the bottom using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink.

You’re A Hit! {WSC399}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new MFT Sketch Challenge, and this week we are up to WSC399! I have to say, this may be my favorite sketch so far! I LOVE this layout and this will be my new go-to for sure!!

I ADORE the little gals from the Friendship Rocks set, they are SO cute and SO fun to color! I cut this cutie from No-Line Coloring Card Stock using the Friendship Rocks Die-namics and then stamped her using Friendship Rocks with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I colored her with Copic Markers.

The main panel of Smooth White Card Stock was cut using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, and I used the same die to cut a panel of patterned paper from the Sweet Celebration Paper Pack. I cut a panel of Smooth White Card Stock using the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics, and added that to the card, popping it up with Foam Tape, and then popped this little singer on top with more Foam Tape. I stamped “You’re a Hit” from Friendship Rocks onto a strip of Cotton Candy Card Stock using Versamark Ink and then heat embossed it with WOW White Embossing Powder. I finished off the card with enamel dots.

Hello! {WSC392}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new MFT Sketch Challenge, and this week, we are up to WSC392! I had tons of fun with this sketch!

I began with a panel of Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock cut using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics, which I then cut using the Stitched Basic Edges Die-namics. I cut a panel of patterned paper from the Black & White Stripes Paper Pack using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, and then added the Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock panel on top.

The flowers were cut from the GORGEOUS Summer Splash Wool Felt using the Mini Rolled Roses Die-namics, and the leaves were cut from Field Day Wood Felt using the Royal Leaves Die-namics. I cut the “hello” four times from Smooth White Card Stock using the Hello There Die-namics, and then layered them together. I added the die-cut “hello” to the card, and then added the flowers and leaves. I finished off the card with a trio of rhinestones.

Aww Nuts, I Missed Your Birthday! {WSC352}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new MFT Sketch Challenge, and this week, we are up to WSC352! I LOVE a sketch with a circle element!

I started by cutting the tree, acorn and squirrel from Wild Woodland using the Wild Woodland Die-namics. I stamped them using Wild Woodland with Black Licorice Hybrid Ink and then colored them with Copic Markers. I popped them up with Foam Tape onto a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut using the Circle STAX 1 Die-namics.

I cut a panel of Milk Chocolate Prestige Card Stock using the Square STAX 2 Die-namics, and I stamped the panel using the Whimsical Woodgrain Background using Milk Chocolate Premium Dye Ink. The sentiment panel was cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the Stitched Fishtail Sentiment Strips Die-namics, and I stamped “AWW Nuts, I Missed Your Birthday” using Milk Chocolate Premium Dye Ink. The main panel was cut from Latte Prestige Card Stock using the A2 Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics, and I added a strip of patterned paper from the Free Spirit Paper Pack.

Bewitching Halloween Wishes! {WSC346}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new MFT Sketch Challenge, and I am LOVING this week’s sketch for WSC346

I am IN LOVE with the darling new Happy Haunting set, and I cannot get enough of this little witch! I cut her, and her trick or treat bag, from X-Press It Blending Card using the Happy Haunting Die-namics, and I stamped her with Black Licorice Hybrid Ink using Happy Haunting. I colored her and her bag with Copic Markers, and then popped them up with Foam Tape onto a panel of Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics. The rounded rectangle panel was cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX Die-namics, and I sponged on a cloudy sky using Periwinkle Premium Dye Ink and the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil. LOVE.

I cut a strip of patterned paper from the Party Patterns Paper Pack with the Stitched Rounded STAX Die-namics, trimmed it down and added it to the cloud panel. I wrapped the panel with Hemp Cord and then added a bow of Hemp Cord. I stamped “bewitching halloween wishes” from Happy Haunting using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink. The bats are from the new Fab-BOO-lous Friends set and I stamped them using Gravel Gray Premium Dye Ink. The entire panel was layered onto a panel of Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock, cut with Blueprints 13 Die-namics, and stamped using the Lined Up Dots Background using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.

Hi everyone!  Happy Monday!

I cannot believe today is the last day of November!!  WOW!  This year has really flown by!  I had a bit of time to stamp this weekend, and I played along with the current MFT Sketch Challenge, MFTWSC256, and the current MFT Color Challenge #34!

What a fun sketch and color combo!  I started by cutting a panel of Smooth White Card Stock using Blueprints 20 Die-namics.  I scribbled on a piece of acetate with a pink Zig Clean Color Marker and then sprayed it with a water bottle.  I then placed the acetate onto the panel of Smooth White Card Stock to create the background.  I cut a trio of trees from X-Press It Blending Card using the MSTN Christmas Cuteness Die-namics, and stamped them with MSTN Christmas Cuteness using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink.  I colored them with Copic Markers and then added shimmer to the ornaments and star using a Clear Wink of Stella Brush Marker.

I stamped the sentiment, “Happiest of Holidays” from BB Santa’s Elves using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink.  I cut a panel of After Midnight Prestige Card Stock using Blueprints 1 Die-namics, and stamped it with the Diagonal Stripes Background using Versamark and then heat embossed it with White Detail Embossing Powder.  I added the focal panel on top and viola!

Say What?

Hi everyone!  Happy Thursday!

I had some stampy time the other night, and played along with the current MFT Sketch Challenge, MFTWSC243!  What a fun sketch with oodles of possibilities!  I wanted a graphic, fun look, so I headed to my stash of Laina Lamb Designs products, and I chose to use the darling Lightbulb Die-namics and LJD Watt’s Up? set!  SO fun!

I used the Stitched Square Frames Die-namics to cut the frame from Silver Shine Card Stock.  I used the same die to cut a panel of Sweet Tooth Card Stock, and I stamped “Say Watt?” repeatedly using Summer Splash Premium Dye Ink, Ripe Raspberry Premium Dye Ink and Lemon Chiffon Premium Dye Ink.  I love using a sentiment stamp to create a background, it’s such a fun look!

I cut a panel of Summer Splash Prestige Card Stock (gosh, I LOVE this color) using the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics, and then I created my lightbulb and added it to the circle panel with Jody Boosters.  I used Lemon Chiffon Prestige Card Stock for the lightbulb, Ripe Raspberry Prestige Card Stock for the inside of the heart, and the Silver Shine Card Stock for the element and the base of the bulb.  LOVE.  I added a sweet little Ripe Raspberry Button tied with Hemp Cord for a little extra element.
