My First Digi!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Friday! Here is my card for today's Limited Supply Challenge on SCS, LSC227, Digis and DieCuts.

I have never used a Digi stamp before, so I did a Google search and found this SUPER cute free digi cat image from Hambo Stamps!!

I printed him out onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored him with Copic Markers.

My color combo is Bermuda Bay (can you tell this is my new favorite In Color?), Certainly Celery and Choice Snow White.

I ran my Certainly Celery panel through the Cuttlebug with the Spots and Dots Embossing Folder, and added two ribbon bows of Bermuda Bay Polka Dot Ribbon.

This was a fun challenge, and it so nice to be able to do a challenge early...gotta love a day off from work!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Happy New Year!!!

Hi everyone! Happy New Year! I hope you all had a happy & safe New Years Eve!! We stayed in as the weather was pretty bad here, and it was SO nice to be home on New Years!!!

So, last night I was surfing SCS and came across the SCS New Years Eve Challenges! Fun! The first one I clicked on, SCSNYE09, was hosted by my buddy and fellow Prettie Girl, Jessica D!!! And what a challenge she came up with!! Here are the deets:

Something New...Times Two!

1.) Use TWO stamps, from TWO different sets. They can be the same company, but two seperate SETS. I used A Scarf For Three from MFT and the sentiment is from Verve Stamps

2.) Use TWO different colors of CS, no more, no less I used Pretty In Pink & Wild Wasabi (and some White...that doesn't count right???

3.) Use TWO different styles of DP I used Pretty In Pink and Wild Wasabi DSP from Prints Pack
4.) Use TWO embellies, and for those two different ones you choose, use them...TWICE! (i.e. two brads, two ribbons, two flowers, etc.) I went with ribbon (Wild Wasabi Stitched Grosgrain) and White Button Brads by Making Memories

5.) It's NEW Year's, so use at least TWO NEW items from all the above categories. Something you just got from Santa, maybe? This was the FUN part...I LOVE new stuff! I used my new Copics to color the image, and the Scarf For Three set was part of my birthday present from Jessie!!! THANKS GIRL!!!
This was SUCH a fun challenge!! So, I stamped this super cute image in Palette Noir onto Georgia Pacific White (I totally need to get me some of that Memento Ink...I just can't FIND it anywhere...grrrrr), and colored it with my Copics (I totally LOVE them now...so glad I kept practicing!!!). I wanted to go with polka dots, so I pulled out some of my Prints Pack DSP in Wild Wasabi and Pretty In Pink. The sentiment is from Verve Stamps and I stamped it right onto the Pretty In Pink DSP.

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!!

I also used my last two Pumpkin Pie Brads...SU...if you are listening (giggle!)...do you think you can make some Chocolate Chip brads? Oh the joy! I wish I wish I wish!!!
