Mr. Fix It {MFTWSC60}!

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!  It's week 60 of our WSC Getting Sketchy. We have another fabulous sketch for you this week!  Meet MFTWSC60!

For my card today, I've used the darling new Fix It Fred....the newest in the Fred Bear lineup at MFT!  He is colored with Copic Markers and I then cut him out and popped him up onto circles.  I stitched around the circle stitch by stitch like the wonderful Jody Morrow!  All of the patterned paper is Dilly Dally from My Minds Eye.

The scallop border was cut with the Simply Scallops Medium Die-Namics and I layered another border cut with the Dainty Dots Die-Namics.  The sentiment, "Mr. Fix It" was stamped onto a panel cut with the Mini Tabs Foursome Die-Namics.  LOVE these.

I added some twill tape, twine and brads for more masculine embellishments.  Here is a closeup of my coloring on Fred...I used some different browns to better match the patterned papers.

I cut out tools using the Tool Charms Die-Namics and then attached them to a simple twine bow.  So fun!  I've also added lots of stitching as you can see in this closeup.

For the inside I added more patterned paper, lots of stitching and Fix It Fred stamped again, this time in Baja Breeze Ink.  I added another sentiment, "Thank You For Your Help" and some brads.

Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:

We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2012.

Check out the
FAQ - Wednesday Stamp Club thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your card to the gallery.  Have you missed any sketches along the way?
