What's Cooking? {MFTWSC81}

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!

It's week 81 of our WSC Getting Sketchy (July 18-July 24). We have another fabulous sketch for you this week!  Meet MFTWSC81!

What a FUN sketch!  I will be using this one over and over I am sure!  For my card today I've used the darling á la modes in What's Cooking.  I stamped her onto X Press It Blending Card and colored her with Copic Markers.  I cut out the panel and the layer of Sweet Tooth Cardstock behind it with the Rectangle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Rectangle STAX 2 Die-Namics.  The card base is Red Hot Cardstock and I used Kraft Cardstock for the panel that I embossed with the Seeing Spots Embossing Folder.

After I colored her, I added some white dots to her apron with a White Gel Pen.  All of the patterned paper is Summer Fresh from Simple Stories.

The sentiment,"What's Cooking" was stamped onto a panel cut with the Sentiment Strips Die-Namics, and I added a border using the Little Open Scallop Strip Die-Namics.  Some Maraschino Twine was wrapped around the horizontal panel and I added three new buttons, Kraft, Red Hot and Sno Cone, all tied with more Maraschino Twine.  LOVE the new MFT Buttons.

On the inside I added more patterned paper and another sentiment, "Happiness is Homemade".

Here are the Copic Markers I've used on my card:

We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2012.

Check out the FAQ - Wednesday Stamp Club thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your card to the gallery.  Have you missed any sketches along the way? Print out all the sketches HERE.   Upload your creation to SCS using keyword MFTWSC81 for a chance to win this week prize (see above). You have until noon Tuesday, July 24 to play along.
