Hugs & Kisses {MFTWSC182}!

Hi everyone!  Happy Friday!

This week has been CRAZY with end of school activities and dance recital rehearsals for my girls.  I FINALLY got into my stamp room for some stampy time, and I sat down to create a card for this week’s MFT Sketch Challenge, MFTWSC182!  I LOVE this sketch!  That big focal panel has SO many possibilities!



I LOVE the new Ampersand Die-namics, and I knew I wanted to use it on my card.  I first chose my color combo, and I went with Nightshift Blue Card Stock, Pink Lemonade Card Stock, Grout Gray Card Stock and Smooth White Card Stock!  I LOVE Navy and Pink together!  I used Nightshift Blue Cardstock to cut “hugs” and Pink Lemonade Card Stock to cut “kisses”, both from using the Lots of Love Die-namics.  I added Glossy Accents on top and let them dry.  I cut some gold glitter paper from my stash and the Ampersand Die-namics to cut the ampersand.  I arranged the pieces onto a panel of Grout Gray Card Stock that I stamped with the Pinstripe Background using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink.  I added a flag cut with the new Pierced Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics cut from Gold Glitter paper and topped it off with a Nightshift Blue Button tied with Hemp Cord.



I used the Blueprints 13 Die-namics to cut the Pink Lemonade Card Stock panel and stamped it with the Pinstripe Background using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink.  The Nightshift Blue Card Stock panel was cut with the Vertical Stitched Strips Die-Namics, and I added more gold flags cut with the Pierced Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics.  The Smooth White Card Stock mat was cut with the Blueprints 2 Die-namics.



On the inside, I cut the Grout Gray Card Stock panel with the Blueprints 13 Die-namics and the Smooth White Card Stock panel with the Blueprints 2 Die-namics.  I added a
panel cut with the Vertical Stitched Strips Die-namics, which I stamped with the Pinstripe Background using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink.  I stamped a sentiment from Together Forever using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.
