Make A Wish! {CTD332}

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown!  This week, Lori has challenged us to use red, kraft, navy and turquoise for CTD332!

Print

How FUN are these colors together?  I’ve used the current MOJO Monday Sketch, MOJO387, for the layout, and I started by cutting a panel of Smooth White Card Stock using Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics.  I stamped the sentiment, “Make A Wish” from Birthday Sentiments, using my MISTI so that I could stamp the sentiment with different colors.  I SO crazy love that.  I used Red Hot Premium Dye Ink, Nightshift Blue Premium Dye Ink, Tropical Teal Premium Dye Ink and Daffodil Premium Dye Ink.  I added a sweet little flower, cut from Red Hot Card Stock using Blueprints 12 Die-namics, and topped it off with a Sweet Tooth Button and Hemp Cord Bow.

Print

The focal panel was popped up with Jody Boosters onto a panel of Tropical Teal Prestige Card Stock cut with the Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics.  I cut a panel of Nightshift Blue Card Stock using the Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, stamped it with the Diagonal Striped Background using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, and then trimmed it down and added it to the Tropical Teal Prestige Card Stock panel.  The main panel of Kraft Card Stock was cut with Blueprints 13 Die-namics, and then embossed with the Jumbo Polka Dot Cover Up Die-namics, and I added a mat of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 2 Die-namics.

Print

On the inside, I cut another panel of Kraft Card Stock using Blueprints 13 Die-namics, and I added a smaller panel of Nightshift Blue Card Stock stamped with the Diagonal Striped Background using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink.  I then stamped the sentiment, “Wishing you the happiest of days’ from Birthday Sentiments, first in Red Hot Premium Dye Ink, and then again to fill in the rest of sentiment area using Tropical Teal Premium Dye Ink.
