June MFT Release Countdown: Day Five!

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday!

It's time to begin the Countdown to the FABULOUS June MFT Release! All of the fabulous new products will be released on Tuesday, June 4th at 10AM in the MFT Boutique!

Today I have a card to share with you using the DARLING new Birdie Brown Friends with Fins and Friends with Fins Die-namics, along with the new Under the Sea Die-namics! LOVE!

I LOVE this set and had so much fun creating this card! I began with a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut using the A2 Rectangle STAX Die-namics, and I sponged on Salty Ocean and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Ink. Then, using the Ray of Light Stencil, I sponged on Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink for the rays of light coming through the water. The "sand" was cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the A2 Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics, and then cut again using the Under the Sea Die-namics. I sponged the panel using Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink. I sprayed both panels and when dry, added them together.

I used the Under the Sea Die-namics to cut the coral, sea grass and rocks from Ripe Raspberry Prestige Card Stock, Green Room Prestige Card Stock, Pineapple Prestige Card Stock, Blu Raspberry Card Stock, Sour Apple Card Stock and Cement Gray Prestige Card Stock. I then added them all to the scene. The dolphin, whale and narwhal (he is my fav!) were all cut from No-Line Coloring Card Stock using the new Friends with Fins Die-namics. I stamped them all using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and Friends with Fins, and then colored them with Copic Markers. I added them to the scene, popping them up with Foam Tape. The sentiment panel was cut from a strip of Smooth White Card Stock, and I stamped "I Love You Deeply" from Friends with Fins using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink.

Thanks SO much for swimming (smile) by! Please head over to the MFT Blog to check out what the rest of the team has created, and for a chance to win an MFT Gift Certificate!
